This is looking really good. For me OOTP it's always been online league or bust. Now solo play is gonna be great i can feel it. If 27 delivers like they're saying boy oh boy this is gonna be fun!

Many of the 3d enhancements look great.

However, at about the 5 minute mark of the new video, the only apparently automatically generated stadium appeared. Of course, it was domed. My heart sank.

Does this mean that old time and minor league ballparks will have domed stadiums generated for them, as in version 26? Can't there be a way for this to be turned off in the settings?

Isn't that just Globe Life Park with the roof closed?

I never like seeing generated stadium in the 1920s with artificial turf and retractable roofs however, would be nice to know if that was fixed or if just more PT Cards were added...

there have been literally zero PT features announced yet, pretending like PT is getting in the way of the base game is ridiculous lol

We've fixed up some of that, so the parks the construction kit builds should match better, and default to open stadiums (especially in minor leagues).

Can I ask, why not have the same filtering optionality in the Shop screen as is now in the Search screen? Seems a no-brainer.

I was surprised when seeing the first screens that this wasn't the case.

I'm certainly not a coder, so maybe there is a good reason? Hopefully a "not enough time to get it in thing", and it could come about in a patch. It would be a very nice QOL addition.

It's probably because the Trade button is a UI element that isn't compatible with the spreadsheet/list UI system.

I understand that having the WBC with all real teams and players is a great add for this addition. However, will custom tournaments be addressed? They were broken in OOTP26 and you couldn’t use the “select by nation talent” setting because it chose teams completely incorrectly. This used to work in previous versions and was really fantastic for fictional leagues. I hope this gets fixed for OOTP27.

Speaking of the real WBC rosters, can we import those players into a standard game? Would be nice to have some of them available as free agents.

I support the game every year and plan on buying. But not having it out by the start of the WBC seems like a missed opportunity.

Hopefully the next two weeks we see a few WBC sim content from OOTP.

Have they even said anything about a Road to Release episode for PT? I asked TJ on stream last Tuesday and he didn't know anything about it.
