Yeah I remember thinking that perhaps they would add one historical stadium a year for us but the 3-D has pretty much been left untouched for years with the exception of "improvements to the way the 3-D players move on the field" with each release. Thank God for Silvam and MANY OTHERS who have done the dirty work of providing historical stadiums for us.

Pretty sure licensing fees will always make this a no go. Sure it doesn't hurt to ask, and I'd be happy to find out I'm wrong. The current stadiums were, I believe, inherited from Com 2 Us when they bought OOTP. Thanks PT.
Whether part of the MLB license or a separate one you can bet they aren't free.As new stadiums are built (Vegas), or current ones reconfigured (Camden Yard, Toronto, Detroit, etc.) I'll be happy to get/keep them in the same detail we get current stadiums. Silvam and all modders are great at filling in the gaps, and I am very thankful for each and everyone of them.

Yes the modders here fill in the gaps for the rest of us knuckle draggers. They make OOTP an even more enjoyable experience for the computer challenged old folks, like me, even if it takes me more than one try to incorporate the mod.

It's my opinion that the modders parks are better.

Can't disagree with you... they do an awesome job, I mean they did almost every park used in the MLB since 1871.

Thank you sir!
Not sure those parks with the Marlboro and Winston signage would make the cut as far as licensing, although I do love seeing those! haha

![]() Besides the feel and atmosphere of your parks my favorite thing is putting a camera in an upper deck at Tiger Stadium or Comiskey Park. The nostalgia of playing games in your historical parks is off the charts.

Was just about to say the same. Silvam's stadium mod is one of my most favorite things about OOTP so would love to see some screenshots as I typically use the traditional camera angle though hadn't really experimented with others too much.

![]() The worst thing about OOTP is the steps you have to go through to change cameras while playing a game with the drop down menu. I've put in the suggestion section before that I'd like to be able to save 3 camera packages (pre-pitch, pitch, action cameras). Imagine then tying your camera packages to a key on the keyboard and voila, tap a key and change all three cameras to your custom cameras. Whether changing between batters (you're the producer in the truck) or just to get a better angle on the replay of that monster HR it would add a ton of enjoyment and immersion to the game. The number keys would be ideal except they are mapped to game decisions now. Maybe f-keys or ctrl-number? Maybe one day.

100% I was surprised at how much more immersed and engaged i was in my OOTP world after subscribing to the historical stadium mods and uniform mods, as but just two of the great mods. Not only did they add to greater overall enjoyment and enrichment in my own world, but, as someone who knows very little about baseball and park history, as i'd play and see a different stadium, or a different version of a ballpark, it would pique my interest to go and find out about some of them. |

I really like the historical stadiums but I have issues where, when the camera goes into action mode, sometimes it decides the best place to be is behind a wall so I miss what's happening on the field.
Am I not setting something correctly or is that just the kind of bug that sneaks in when a stadium was technically designed for several games ago? |

Don't worry you can't break anything. Nothing you change saves unless you manually save it. If what you are doing is not working the way you want it's easy to start over. Simply select a different camera from the list and then go back to the one you were working on. Since what you did was never saved it will be where it was when you first opened it, now you can try again. When you do save you can overwrite the current camera or create a new one using a different name. One suggestion to make it easier is both horizontal and vertical camera adjustments have degrees preset. I think one is 15 and the other 10, so each click may move the camera farther than you want. I change both values to 1 so I get small 1 degree adjustments with each click of the +/- buttons. Other than that there is no magic system that will make it easy. It's trial and error, and you become better at it the more you play with it.

I have sat many times in the second deck in leftfield, my biggest memory is Willie Horton wearing a helmet playing left field. You could only see part of the playing field depending on where you sat. They actually called the dozen or so rows in front "box seats" Good times.

[QUOTE=silvam14;5242670]Appreciate that, I really do. Playing my big tournament has really let me enjoy using all of these parks. Also has let me see some places where maybe I could make small improvements in the future
Are the stadium mods for tablets, just switch you see is what you get? Im guessing stadiums can't be downloadable for GO apps |
