Wrigley 1928-1937 still CTDs
Quote:
All fail in the same way: a few seconds of crowd noise, then CTD. In 16 years of play from 1919 to 1934, I have now tried 28 sets of park files (18 NL--including Wrigley 1938-1978--and 10 AL). All work except Wrigley 1928-1937. For this reason I doubt that the problem is my copy of OOTP or my OS. Do Silvam14 or Adion monitor this forum? Maybe one of them can shed some light. Thanks. |

Braden,
Thanks for quick reply. This link which you sent me on 02/11/2026 https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547 includes the mediafire link--which yields error 404--and, just below, a set of links to ballpark models, which are accessible. I assumed that meant the contents were the same. In that list, the name of the Wrigley 1928-1937 .zip file ends with " 1_4." The mediafire link which you just posted appears to be the same one. Error 404. |

Do you mean this page?
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547 Succeeded in downloading that .zip file. But I'm not currently visiting the Cubs, so AFAIK I can't test loading that park until I get that far, which will take several days. Is there a way? I did succeed in creating a 1-game exhibition using the 1928 Cubs as the home team. But there does not seem to be a way to change the park files. When I tried to play it with whatever version of Wrigley 1928 it already had, it crashed in the same way as all previous attempts. |

Yes, but AFAIK I can't test whether it works except when my team is playing a game there. That was my question: is there a way?

I have downloaded Mike Silvam's historical ballparks. Now how do I get them into OOTP26 ballpark models folder? … I tried drag and drop like Mike did in his video, but that didn't work. Then, how do I load a historical stadium into a OOTP26 game? I'm not very technically adept, so I need step-by-step instructions. Thnx

Was finally visiting the Cubs and able to test the park files from that page. I can see Wrigley 1928-1937 is not the same as ones I tested earlier b/c the byte count is not the same. But this one too fails in the same way as the others.

Black infields in 3D game mode
Hi all, forgive me if: a) this is a really stupid 'user error' question; b) has already been asked and answered somewhere; or c) both.
I keep getting a black infield on-screen in Modern 3D game mode when using the historic parks, instead of brown dirt. Is there anything I can do about that? Thanks for all the fantastic work putting these parks together!!! |

As you see the one tree is black out. I and Grandpa tried to fix it in Sketchup but could not get anything to work. Also, OBJexporter.rb does not show up on my Sketchup screen and we don't remember where to put it to show up.
Thanks, Braden |

Never mind. Grandpa remembered exporter file goes and we fixed it.
