If you guys follow through with another patch for 26, that will go a long way toward restoring faith in OOTP's commitment to the single player side of the game.

OOTP 26 was the first I didn't buy since finding OOTP back on OOTP2.
Fictional leagues are what matter to me and outside of one year in like 2016 (?) we just haven't gotten much love. If there is any new attention to fictional leagues and builds and promotion/relegation maybe ill buy it. If not, I'm out for the 2nd year in a row which such because OOTP and Rollercoaster Tycoon are the two games ive spent more time playing than anything over the past 20 years |

Will there be a Linux version? Or, will the steam version support playing the game on a Linux only computer? If "no" and "no" is Windows 11 required?

Still no schedule maker or trade profiles for individual teams (ability to set contenders wanting to add productive veterans, teams out of it wanting prospects, etc.) Sigh.

We don't have details yet, but we certainly don't know that this type of stuff was not touched in some way during that process. |

Well, I am gonna pre-order. I have owned every version of the game. I will say this version added more wonkiness and strange things than any version before. Stuff that was fixed got broken again. For example even though it was fixed at one time, I am again having random players from my ML roster being released when I mass release minor leaguers the game (not me) DFA'd. Even though I have control of all signings and releases, the AI (or whatever you want to call it) is DFAing players. Now I assume that is because I have player total limits on all my minor leagues which I usually do not do. I now have to check every time I release somebody to make sure I am not losing an important player from my major league roster as well. Other than the disaster of a version that came after OOTP 6.5 (2006 0r 2007 can't remember), I have never been let down by a version as much as 26. Too many issues took to long to fix, were fixed and then broke again, or were not fixed at all. I am still going to blindly buy as I always have THIS time but 2027 will determine if that continues. I saw nothing new in the newsletter that really interests me for the way I play but maybe as time goes along and they release other details something will tickle my fancy.

Based on your statements it might be more accurate to say that "sandbox" or "fantasy setup" players have not had many advancements for a while. Essentially, features that are not necessarily correlated with any real life baseball leagues that exist (but maybe could be mapped to features of other real life sports). I would generally agree with that. |

Two words. Editable. Helmets. As a jersey nut we can make everything else. Making helmets will complete the uniform.
