Mac Issue

For some reason when I attempt to switch to full screen mode (I'm a Mac user) the screen goes black. In fact any time I attempt to switch resolutions at all it goes black. I'm able to play OOTP 26 in windowed mode, but not full screen. Anyone have any ideas or is this a known issue?

On Windows, the game had an auto draw issue when moving between full screen and windowed that caused an issue similar to the one you're describing. This was fixed early in the release cycle, so maybe the fix wasn't applied to all OS variants?

This could very well be. Mac has also made a number of changes to its OS over the past year.

Open GL issue?

I had a similar issue which error messages said was due to Open GL (Open Graphics Library) being disabled in the config file. Open GL is used in Mac software, but was not created by Apple, so they couldn't help fix it. It was suggested that I delete the existing config file, then reinstall OOTP 26. This was only partially successful. I can now, apparently, simulate the rest of the season without any graphics, whereas before, I couldn't even advance the game one day without it crashing. I'll attach some illustrative screenshots below.

I am not getting any type of error message...the screen just goes completely black and I need to "force quit" OOTP to close it out.
