Will it going to preseason mean that arbitration etc will be considered resolved? A lot of guys end up non-tendered who weren't IRL. I put the notable ones back on their teams.

Ok…….This is it. THE BIG ONE GANG.
v12 includes:

- Game date advanced to start of preseason (Mid January) so I can load the accurate 2026 MLB schedule

- Any trades/signings up to 1/9/26

- Top 50 International Free Agents rated and placed on projected team per Baseball America

- Top 300-ish 2026 draft prospects rated per scouting reports Baseball America. Many of the lower HS players did not list birthdate so they have a default of 1/1/2008. For pitchers, the pitch mix and velocity may be off. With my database I focus more on stuff/movement/control.

- All arbitration amounts settled on 1/8 entered. If team and player did not settle, I’ve selected the player’s amount by default.

Thank you so much for your hard work!! I wanted to ask something someone else also asked regarding the League Settings --> Stats & AI note you had: Do we need to adjust this or is that something we can change if we'd like to have a different era or something?

Since file is in preseason should be fine to leave as is unless someone wants to change to different era

Thank you for doing this. It's fantastic. I do have a question, though. I wanted to adjust a players batting rating and I see that I can change BABIP, avoid K's, Gap, Power, and eye/patience but not contact. Contact is like grayed out and can't be selected. Is this normal? Maybe I can adjust this at a later time? This is right after I started the save. No games have been played as of yet. Thanks again.

Something else is not right with v12. At least, not for me. Free agency is messed up. I sign a player and a few days later it's telling me my fans are not happy I let the guy go. Twice with two different players it did this. I offered my bid, the players signed. That's what it said anyway. Now the fans are mad I let them go. I don't understand it.

Don't know how many are like this but at least one coach is wrong at the MLB level. Travis Chapman was fired months ago for the NYY

I just found out that other versions of OOTP also do what I saw in post #67. So it's in the game itself. Makes no sense to me. See, I don't play with the players stats and data. I leave them alone. So I wanted to change one player and I can't do it. Know I now.

I believe Luis Arraez ratings are a bit too “hot” so I’ve re-evaluated him and adjusted accordingly. For a one off I will not release an update, but feel free to copy ratings and potentials from attached screen shot!

Because otherwise the AI will not make any roster decisions.
Ever.

That setting is enabled by default in the base game, it's how you have 29 AI GMs.
