Coming to 2004

So I started a historical game as the Montreal Expos. Right now we're in 2002. I know after 2004 the team moves to Washington to become the Nationals.
What I'm wondering is if there's a way of stopping the switch and creating a new stadium for the Expos to get out of the Spaceship..

I know I can just create the new park but I would want it default after being built.. Kind of like what I was doing for a while with changing the Guardians' name every year

The stop from switching to Washington, is that as simple as going into the menu in the offseason and toggling off the option for real expansion and moves?

Someone will hopefully pop up to explain exactly how it's done, but rather than have the entire league stop expanding, I'm pretty sure you can use the teams.csv to effectuate it solely for the Expos.

There are two files to edit if you want to keep league evolution on and keep the Expos in Canada. The Teams.csv file is the first. Your start year will load from a hard to get to version inside the odb so start before the move. Edit the Teams.csv file and swap out the WAS fields with MON data. The other is the era_ballpark file in the database file. Edit it also swapping the 2005 and thereafter info in the WAS lines with MON data. The file tells it which model/park to load so you can tell it that your custom chosen park is the one to load instead the Nat's park in there currently. The game is just a game, it follows history because those files tell it what history was.

You're not kidding with hard to find.. I'm assuming these files would be in the files made for that particular game, correct? If so, I can't find my saved games, though I have games saved.

Nope, the Teams.csv is in the STATS folder. Go figure.

No idea where the era ballparks one is.
