WPORBL-74 & WPORBL-94 Openings

3 fun, slower-paced, historic leagues still have a few openings. If you enjoy savoring each season to its fullest and appreciate more time to be involved (i.e. turning off your computer for a week does not cost you half or a full season), with developing your franchise and seeing some of your favorites from the past (or learn an era you are less familiar with), the WPORBL leagues could be a great fit. The leagues have almost 4 years under our belt, and we plan to be around as long as the game (and I) continue to exist. This is a great league to hone your MLB knowledge!

WPORBL-74 Just started 1981 First Year Draft (8th season in 4 years)
WPORBL-94 Midway through June, 2000 (7th season in 3.5 years)
WPORBL-55 Early May, 1957 (3rd season in 1.5 years)

Open Teams
WPORBL-74 - Padres
WPORBL-94 - Diamondbacks, A's, Indians, Astros, Orioles. Reds
WPORBL-55 - None

Historic replay of MLB using historic rules as much as possible
Rookie Draft Lottery
Daily 2-day SIMs (1-day during playoffs) = 2 seasons per year
8:30 AM Pacific SIM time (generally)
Uses SLACK for communication

Scouting Accuracy - Normal
Player Development
20 to 80 scale
Use Coaching System
Base Coaches
Coach Cohesion Impact - Normal
Enable Owner Goals
GM-only users are always in control
GMs can be fired (but will be reinstated unless tanking is evident)

We are now down to just ONE open team in WPORBL-94 just as we start up the second half of the season. The Indians are at or near the top of the AL Central race again so its a smaller market team leading a smaller market division.

We still have the 1st place Cleveland Indians available in the WPORBL-94 league! Our only retro-league opening!!

The 2000 Indians still remain as our lone historical league opening. We are into August 2000 and the team leads the AL Central. They have a very strong club - lots of power!
