The intelligence of the AI-Park Factors
After watching MLB offseason vids and how the Yanks want Bellinger back because he's a lefty I wonder if this logic applies to OOTP. How deep does the AI intelligence go as far as trading, FA signings, roster management according to park factors? Will the NYY AI try to sign left handed hitters? Will "pitchers park" teams go after premium defense? Or is just about ratings?

I am very skeptical of the advantage of trying to build a team around home ballpark factors when you still need to play half of your games on the road. I would think the computer will always try to out their best team together regardless of the ballpark factors.

Agree. Most of the time specialists don't do well outside of their specialty.

I recall someone a few years ago tried putting together a team suited for Colorado with some level of success:
- Very fast outfielders with extreme range - Hyper focus on pitchers who struck out a lot of guys and induced a lot of ground balls - High slug hitters since you want as many flyballs as possible in Colorado but not willing to sacrifice slug for defense in the outfield Of course with the last few versions heavily favoring the three true outcomes this comes as both a blessing and a curse. Trying to win in Colorado has not been something I've done yet over years and years of playing OOTP
