When I saw that failed flea flicker I knew it was over. Why on Earth do you call that play at that point anyway?

The play calling from the Panthers this year has been horrendous. IMO, this staff is just delaying the inevitable. They have no control of the team, do not hold anyone accountable, too slow to make adjustments & too scared to throw the ball past the 1st down marker. They won 8 games, which for the Panthers, is like a banner year. But IMO, if someone in the office doesn't demand change in m.o. from Canales & his group, they are going to be watching Canales get himself & the execs canned.

I'm looking at X & it is like the entire football world became Panther fans in the 3rd quarter because of all the horrific calls.

I beg to differ. Contact is allowed w/in 5 yds of the LOS. Look at the play again, look at ref who threw the flag, where he was on the field, and when he tossed the flag.

The defender is allowed contact within five yards, not the receiver. The receiver is never allowed to initiate contact.

1. You think T-Mac alone started the contact?

2. You think the rules allow the defender to beat up on the WR for 5 yds but doesn't allow the WR to get him off? He just has to allow the defender to manhandle him?

3. You going to ignore the film shows proof the ref did not reach for his flag until TMac caught the ball?

4. I would love for you to show another incident where the call was OPI because the wideout fought off contact w/in 5 yds. I want to see how often that is whistled.

There's been a lot of sloppy football this weekend. NFL needs to find a way to prevent ending the year w/a 4th preseason game.

8-9 and rewarded with a home game. Dumb system. They let way too many teams in and reward mediocrity by supporting the division winner structure.
