Paul Schaal?! I have no words. Looking at the MVP list, it's like that kids' game of "one of these things is not like the others". Paul Schaal.

Super curious how you came up with the rankings and if you have a mega list of all the teams and their starting ranks? I'm so glad I just stumbled into this thread today!

I ranked the teams simply by their Regular Season Winning Pct. and then by run differential to try and separate the larger packs.

I have an excel spreadsheet which I call my "Bash Bible" which has the tournament brackets and entire team list along with game opponents and other useful info. I will share this at some point

Yeah, in fairness though, the mvp only has to have a great 2 or three game stretch as it is best of three

I'm still checking in and enjoying this very much. Never really a Reds fan but always enjoyed watching Bench play.

Uhhh.....

It's been 6 days since the last post (which wasn't even an update.) Some of us are extremely invested in reading the updates of this incredible tournament. Silvam....I know you have done a TON for this community, but this feels like a really big tease right now. MIMICKING MY WIFE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!! So....I'll say to you what I seem to always say to her. Give it up already. We have waited patiently long enough. If we can't get satisfaction from you, we may be forced to look elsewhere for it, but please believe that this is where I really want to get it from.

Oh......and thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Keep up the good work.

lol. It’s been a little slower going for bracket 20. Currently still finishing the first round. Interesting teams in this one.

93 Braves
76 and 79 reds
78 Red Sox

Bracket 20 is complete. The 1964 Cardinals Swept the 1980 Montreal Expos. Bob Gibson was dominant in the Series and bracket to win MVP

Big Beautiful Baseball Bash Update! Bracket 21. The 1982 San Diego Padres Stunned the 1956 New York Yankees in a 2-0 sweep to capture the bracket Title. Terry Kennedy was named MVP in the short series
