GM and watching can it be done?

Sorry if this is a dumb question as I make my way through what I consider to be the most in depth game I have ever seen

So I want to be the team GM, I want to watch the game BUT NOT play it. I do not want to have to hit swing, decide on pinch hitters, etc. I just want to be the front and watch my manager make in game decisions.

Is this possible as an option?

Yes. Go to the manager's "office" and set it to GM only or if setting up a historical game, it is an option near the end of the Set-up Wizard. Also on the righthand side of that screen, are a bunch of tasks you can delegate or retain. The managers office should be your name at the top of the screen and then it brings a dropdown of options to go to.

There are no dumb questions. Enjoy the game! Ask questions to the community as needed.

Now, I will be curious how long you can watch and not want to intervene! For me it would first likely be bringing in a RP. Or maybe a pinch-hitter in a crucial situation. Then there are the tactical situations, like stealing a base, taking a pitch, or bunting (ugh). As IRL, it's hard for a GM not to interfere.
