How To Place New Format Jerseys Into OOTP?

How do you install the new format jersey and caps into OOTP26?
I have never installed the new format graphics.
All my jerseys are old format.

Do you just download each part of the jerseys into the "Jerseys" folder?

As most of you know, that have been around on the Mods Forum for a while, EC is not very good with computer technology.

If you would, just post step-by step instructions for installation. I am not intuitive, so please don skip steps thinking I am well-versed in computer technology and procedures.

Would really appreciate your help. txranger and Trek2300 just made me a bunch of beautiful new jerseys and caps for my rebranded Glasco Celtics in my Islandian Pro Alliance dynasty league.

Other than the number of uniform components, the basic process hasn't substantially changed in years. Each jersey component goes into the folder that maches the prefix. So caps_team_name.png goes in the ballcaps folder, and so on. The only catches are that there may be more than one jerseys_ file, so just put them all in the jerseys folder, the game should be able to tell which one to load based on the filename.

The jersey fonts have to go into the jersey_fonts folder, although they may not necessarily have a prefix like the caps_, jerseys_, etc.

But ultimately it's the same process as it's always been.

Thank you, eriqjaffe.

And thank you for your graphics software.
It is a tremendous help to the OOTP Community.

I'm going to attempt to learn how to use it.
Wish me luck.

Just as a note - if you're using Windows the Uniform Creator has an option to just directly install the uniform components into the proper folders.

I'm in a similar situation like OP, haven't played OOTP since v22.

Got a ton of downloaded Uniforms, Caps and whatnot, also created a whole bunch on my own. My main question currently would be if that stuff could still be utilized in OOTP26?
I assume the Uniforms won't work anymore, because this seems to be reworked entirely. Does it mean everything that's posted here on the forum and hasn't been updated (since OOTP25, I guess?) cannot be used anymore? What about Caps, Logos and so on, are they still the same?

Sorry if I'm missing obvious things, haven't even installed v26 yet. At the moment I'm more in the "collecting what I'll surely need" stage.

At least for me, old style jerseys, caps, etc. have worked.

In short the answer is yes... Old style unis work fine they are somewhat distorted in 3D up close and personal in the lower half of the jersey... Caps and logos work the same as in older versions.
