Will there be an OOTP27?

It's December... I have not seen any mention on this forum about OOTP27.

Sure would be nice to know... a simple yes or no would suffice.
I hope OOTP goes on and on and on.......... and on and on and on.....

However, nothing lasts forever. One of these days OOTP will no longer be.
I hope there are many, many versions in its wonderful history before they run out of innings to play in this wonderful game.

Unless based on some broader established information or intel that I'm not picking up on - I'd be super surprised if, after 1 iteration, the company that purchased the game would walk away from or forsake further iterations of OOTP?
This might be my naivety shining through, i had hoped a new developer may have some firm plans/direction in mind they want to put in place to establish their 'footprint'.

OOTP does not have a license. I imagine they will announce it if they get one.

At the very least create a fictional league with fake teams and players that has the same mechanics as before it went away. Also please add the US's southern neighbor back and the large island south of Florida. No one from those two countries is suing anyone over a little known baseball simulator.

OOTP is not going to have any real leagues unless they acquire a license for them.

Please point out these mods. I have yet to find them and I've been searching since we've lost them. I know of a Japan recreation but I have yet to find mods for any of the other leagues we lost. I've resorted to using the MLB quickstart from before the purge.

Also very few if any mods don't include the MLB and other leagues. This can make deleting tiresome as those league never leave the drop down menu despite being fully deleted

Also again OOTP parent Company has the license. If they can't share it then they should state that, rather then leave us in the dark.

So stated. They aren't precisely the same parties and use would seemingly require a cost that is beyond their means.

Yeah buddy, EC is way up there in age... the Good Lord willing and those two creeks don't rise --- phrase stolen from Hank Williams --- the Shakespeare of Country Music, I'll be 86 in April.

My Islandian Pro Alliance recently passed the 1 million-mark in views. I wasn't too sure I would live long enought to reach that mark. Neither was Clovodequano Dovotha. CD pointed out on my dynasty thread that EC might not make due to my very advanced age. I was 84 or 85 at the time.

I think it is the first dynasty league to reach that number. Westheim just recently made it, too. txranger has over 3 million views on the OOTP Mods and Graphics Forum... now that is really something!

My next goal is to play 100 seasons of the IPA dynasty... now in its 92nd season.... I think I will need to live to 89 to make it.
One again I'll quote Hank --- EC will make it "the Good Lord willing and those two creeks don't rise".
