Edit: got it. For others, its usually in my documents, ootp, saved games (on PC). Just drop the extracted .lg file in there.

I started to post this in the bug section but got to checking and found it only is happening when I use the CBL files. Any ideas on where changes are being made that are causing these anomalies?

I am getting all these different numbers from different parts of the scouting and profile tabs. This example is Max Meyer 5/1/26, but all are similar

from my scout in April 2026
in his development report at the bottom of the Scouting Tab says

Potential Stuff improves from 51 to 52 (all of this on 1-100 scale)
Potential Control drops from 54 to 53

Meanwhile at the top in the scouting history you have
Stf/Pot Mov/Pot Con/Pot
75/76 49/50 62/63 from 4/24/26 (the updated report)
51/51 49/49 53/54 past report 3/4/26
and on Profile tab (scout's rating)
66/66 49/50 62/63

The info on the most recent report matches the profile except for Stuff. Looks like its calculated differently on the different tabs. But on some I checked, the scout Stuff rating exactly matches the profile tab. The development report seems to not be related to anything at all.

It seems like primarily it is the development report that is out of sorts with everything else when I use CBL's files. I very much enjoy the CBL saves and appreciate all the hard work that goes into it. This weirdness doesn't change that; I just found it very odd.

Anyone else seeing these kinds of variances?

This blew my mind. I'm playing version 5 and running the Phillies. I let the game control my teams front office. Kyle Schwarber was signed by the team for $150 million for 5 years.

Just found out this morning that that's exactly what happened for real. Blew my mind.

Hey gang - Steamer has projection updates now for both Murakami and Okamoto. I’ve updated my file on my side with ratings below. I’ve only changed batter ratings/potentials to be more in line with projections.

Feel free to adjust them on your side!

Not sure what's up with the facegens though. When I'm starting a "new" game by loading this quickstart game (v10), it's not loading the facegens from the Complete Universe Pack, seems it's using the defaults.
This is different when I'm starting a "really new" game, like with for example Juan Soto:

I was hoping to fix it by running the Update function(s) under Game/League settings...

...but it's not working, for example Soto is still the same afterwards.

The only way apparently is to go to the player page and use the "Auto-reload picture" option...

This will change the facegen for i.e. Soto.
But doing this for every player individually is of course ridiculous

Could this be fixed somehow?
Actually I haven't played the game since OOTP22, so I could be missing out some basics that might have changed in the meantime.

At the moment I'm leaning towards not to use this quickstart, and start a new game from scratch instead. Because not having the far superior facegens seems too much of a trade-off.
