Trade snafu

I'm not sure how this even happens. This save came over from FHM 11, I'm in the 2033-34 season managing Edmonton, currently in May, 2034 in the playoffs and I just noticed a 1st round pick I traded for in July 2033 from Winnipeg was missing from my list. I went out digging through the transaction log to try to determine what happened and found that Winnipeg somehow traded that pick to Colorado 7 months later in Jan. 2034, it then proceeded to get traded yet again and is now showing as belonging to Anaheim. There doesn't seem to be a fair way to straighten that mess out, so now I'm left without a 1st round pick I was planning to use for a good trade.

I really wish there was a better way to track draft picks and which team they originally belonged to and which team owns them now and be able to edit them from that screen. When I notice a bad trade and want to reverse it, I can easily edit the player back to their original team, but the only way I've found to get the draft pick back to the original team is trading it to myself and then trading it to the original team, is there a better way to fix these scenarios? Would be nice in commissioner mode if we could just veto the trade.

I generally enjoy playing the game, but there are so many of these little bugs that become really frustrating and things like this we shouldn't even have to try and keep track of, I don't want to have to document my draft picks and players separate from the game and compare them to make sure I don't lose players/picks like this, that adds too much work and takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

Is your save still before July 1st 2024? In that case you could upload the save and we might at least be able to find out what happened to your traded draft pick.

We also added the team of the pick to the transaction log.

Good, this would be a real pain to try to keep track of picks, even worse players getting lost.

Got another one, hopefully it's the same bug, if not let me know and I'll upload a new save. Vegas got their mileage out of this 1st round pick, trading it not once, not twice, but THREE times in the same day!

I have seen this bug many times in FHM 9, FHM 10, and FHM 11. I don't own 12 yet. This is a legacy bug, I'm sure
