Fun Fact: Lando's final 2-point gap over Dutch Max is the narrowest (in % of the champion's points total) that a championship has ever been won by.

Yes, titles have been won by a single point (and once even by half a point), but those were different points systems.

No matter who you like or don't like it was a decent year. Three guys won a bunch of races and it came down to the very end.

But I am ready for '26. New cars, new regs, and a team to finally root for. Let's gooooo!

While I'm rooting for the GoAT as always, it would be nice if Ferrari seemingly doing nothing to upgrade their car this year would mean they put everything into their 2026 car. As a general F1 fan I'd really like to see Charles as the favorite for a change. Williams pulling themselves back into the top-4 would be nice to see as well.

The funny part about Ferrari is that they *almost* pipped McDimwit to the constructor's title last year, and then developed a brand new car for the last year of these regulations that turned out to be a turd, and might have stopped bothering with it many, many months ago.

I'm being told by my sources that Ferrari has Jerome D'Ambrosio as assistant team principal, although his F1 career is largely a completely forsaken season with Virgin/Marussia and zero points.

If any other drivers are in an at least semi-official advisary position with any teams, they sure hide it well.
