Whether it is true or not he was fired because the boosters were unhappy with him. It is the ONLY reason people really get fired from HC jobs in college football.

Interesting that the school said "inappropriate" relationship, not "illegal" relationship, there's quite a difference.

That's easy to explain. "Illegal" makes them liable. They would just be protecting themselves from a lawsuit just in case. That is why newscasts always say "alleged" before trial & "convicted" or "found guilty" after the verdict.

Yes, college football is really changing fast, but the NCAA is not helping them. It is really necessary that take the right decisions. It will be good for the game.

But they knew about it for around a year according to some sources. I'll stand by what I said. If he beats OSU and was in the playoff this gets buried. UM has a long history of burying some really damning things. Helps that they have some very pro-Michigan prosecutors and judges working in Washtenaw County.

IDK. I think it is more likely they knew about it, but still had plausible deniability. Then the assault happened and they couldn't pretend anymore.

Maybe. I was assuming they learned of the assault investigation, fired him, and then the police went to pick him up.

I had pictured in my mind him cheating on his wife w/some student he attacked (or she got mad & claimed he attacked. We don't know yet.) The police got involved. Michigan found out. Knew it was going to be bad. Fired him. He went to his side piece to get her to recant. Maybe forcefully. She calls 911. He's "detained" pending investigation & finally arrested.

Stuff I've been reading has all the things that got the police involved happening after he learned he had been fired. Nothing official though, so like you said, we don't know yet.

Yeah, I think your theory is definitely plausible. We're just trying to fill in the blanks like everyone else.

I'm just thinking how Michigan would find out in the 1st place. I don't think they would just drop him for dating someone. They would give him a chance to break off the relationship. So I would guess it would be more than just he had a coed on the side.

That's why I theorize she went to the police. You know the city of Ann Arbor is going to protect their best "client's" interest. They give UM a heads up. They call him in to ask if it is true. And then fire him cause they know it is going to be a crap show whether he got violent or not because he is committing adultery w/someone under him.

They had an inappropriate relationship. Michigan became aware of it, and started investigating. The lady broke off the relationship, probably to try to save her job. The Coach went ape****, busted in, grabbed a knife, and offered to unalive her, and then himself..saying "you ruined my life." She calls the cops, they drag him away. Baker hold, then back to jail. Michigan was aware of the relationship, didn't have proof. She later ended it & went to Michigan w/proof. They fired him. He went to her home claiming he was going to kill himself in front of her cause she ruined his life. That's when the cops came & arrested him.

So if the above is true, there was no previous assault on a woman. Moore is one more idiot who let what was below his belt do the thinking for him. And he ruined a good gig, his marriage & his career for a hussy.
