Do the OOTP25 Old Type Jerseys Not Work in OOTP26

I rebranded one of my teams from OOTP25 to OOTP26, but I could not install it..

Do the old style jerseys no long work in OOTP?

They had .png extentions. I noticed in OOTP26, it uses .oi extensions.

Is it possible to change .png to .oi?

They should still work. .Oi extensions are the unis that come with the game.

The game loaded all of the 64 teams when I converted to OOTP6.26.
However, it will not load up the team I rebranded in OOT26.

Maybe someone can tell me the problem.

When I click on the "Select" button to load up the team Glasco listed at the top, nothing happens... the custom-made jerseys do not load, only the game generated jersey is there that I created myself.

I tried both extensions, the old .png and changed it to .oi... neither worked.

Eugene rather than the picture, can you share with us the jerseys that aren't loading? it might be easier to find the solution that way

Here are the other screens that come up when I hit the "Select" Button.

I don't know what to do with them.

Anyone have any ideas what the jersey load problem is?

I picked "jerseys_glasco_ celtics.png" on the "select font" screen, but nothing happens.

I then click on the New Folder, but I don't know what to name it.

Here are the new jerseys... I found out how to load them up properly... I chose the wrong load button... it was in the Jersey Logo box... Originally I used the SELECT button at the top... that may be the way to load the alternate jerseys.

I got a warning that if I changed the extensions from .png to .oi they might not work.... that may be part of the problems... I changed something on the original .png jerseys.

I went back and reloaded everything from justafan's software and they worked.

You can't just change extensions most of the time. OI can be changed to PNG. Never tried to go the opposite way.

In post #5 it shows select font file but you are in the jersey folder. If you look at post #3 and click on select next to the font you should see "select font file". All fonts are in the Z:\...\OOTP Baseball 26\data\jersey_fonts folder. There is no jersey_fonts folder in your saved leagues. (I think there s/b a folder like this, but that's a developer choice)

Try using the "filter" button to add the jersey. It should give you some choices such as "glasco" or "celtics". As long as the file is in the Z:\...\OOTP Baseball 26\data\jerseys folder (or in the saved league's similar location) the file should be shown to load.

I did have an issue with jerseys and pants that were saved as JPG files. They would show in the uniform select screen but would revert back to generics the next time I loaded the game. I had to convert these to PNG file in order to work correctly.

My error was I was clicking on the select button at the top to the right of glasco gators to load it up.

I needed to go down where it said "select" in the jersey logo box and it loaded perfectly.
