Only 2 of my SAVED GAMES show up as LOAD GAME options - please help

Hello there. I am playing career mode and I have a game that I want to backtrack. A couple times during the season I zipped up my backup games folder and dated it ... I am trying to restore my current game to one of the backups. It successfully creates a newly named folder and places it in my SAVED GAMES folder but it never gives me the option to load that particular game.

I think there is something I do not understand. Can you help me access these old backups/Saved games?

Most likely it's just a small error in naming. The saved games show up from your saved games folder have to be a folder ending in .lg, and then it needs to see the world.dat file underneath that. So if you xip up and restore the files, you just need to make sure they go back to that same format. Often files end up one level too deep (ie. you have MyGame.lg/MyGame.lg/world.dat), or unzipping you end up with a different top folder (MyGame.lg (2)) which would be hidden from the saved games folder too.
