I'm trying not to scan images anymore either, but trace them manually, teaches me how to do it, and is not completely stealing or copying. Usually I draw over a photo of an animal, but today I thought to do Lisa Simpson's saxophone, see if I could recreate it for your logo, so here is the image I found in a second on google on the right, the trace bitmap version on the bottom (the inkscape feature that automatically scans), and the one I drew on the left. It's obviously based on/ copied from it, but it is a little different, and more fun for me to make.

I arranged two of those saxophones from the previous post to resemble the Red Sox's socks, and then I did their old primary logo. The gold, red and dark blue are all from the New Orleans flag, as are the fleur de lis.


(obviously it was necessary to rename them to the Sax Sox.)

then I thought I'd do a Utah/New Orleans Jazz version with the sax as the J

I looked at it again before I posted these and typed them up so I thought it probably needed the ball to be coming out of the horn opening, so here is the silliest version.

Liberty Place is much taller than City Hall and was credited with a sports curse for twenty years. It's still the second tallest here and I've used its bathrooms.There are also other imitation buildings around the world. (Obviously Liberty Place is itself based on the Chrysler Building.) Below image is from this post about lookalike skyscrapers.

(obviously clive/dinosauryoshi didn't ask for this. I was thinking maybe I'd draw a bactrian camel before I started giggling about this building)

I never thought of that/realized that. TBH i am not sure I even know what a Squire is.

Not really Confederate, I think it generally refers to colonial plantation owners...which i'm not sure is much better.

I agree. I have done some teams from there, there is a Hampton Roads earlier in this thread.. michaelfish if you have another good concept for a team from somewhere there I can try that one

well I could always try to draw Halladay/Lee/Hamels/Oswalt. works for a hyrda team too
