Waiver pick ups not working

When players first get put on original waivers in October, you are able to pick up one player only, it ignores any additional claims, and after this original date, there appears to be a bug where even if you claim a player off waivers, it will not assign him to your team, even if no other team has claimed him.

I have checked to ensure this player did not exceed the 50 contracts allowed (my team was at 46) and the 23 man roster limit (mine was at 20 originally and then 21).

Can you please look into this apparent bug?

Will do. I think I've narrowed it down - in previous versions even if you had a full roster you could claim someone off waivers, go temporarily over the roster limit and let someone else go.

Now it seems you have to have an open roster spot prior to. When I go down to 22 and claim someone it works. If I'm at the limit, it doesn't.

With so many having waiver claim problems in FHM 12, it's amazing you have not found some of those waiver problems in your tests of 12. I have not had any of the same waiver claim problems in FHM versions 7-through-11.

Since the waiver claim system is unreliable right now, if I claim a player and don't get him and the next day, he's still on the team that waived him, I make a forced trade for the player I claimed, giving the waiving team the crappiest player under my control.

I've tried replicating this, but a claim with the roster at 23/23 still worked - it gave me the player and let me go to 24/23 (it just wouldn't let me continue until I moved someone to the minors.) If you still have the save where this happened, even if you've advanced it beyond that point, I'd like to have a look at it, though.

I have tried multiple waiver claims and none took. I looked online and saw the feedback about open roster spots and pending trades, and I addressed any of that. Still, claims went unprocessed that should have worked.

I would love to, but I am a casual player and I am looking for the saved game file and having no luck.

I read the instructions for uploading a game, looked online to help find saved games from Steam, and I can't find the darn thing.

Start your game > Settings > Troubleshooting > Open Customizable Data Folder > Saved_Games.

I too am unable to have a successful waiver claim once the season starts. When I click the "claim player" button, a message will display saying "player claimed". Next day, the claimed player is sent down to the minors for the original team.

Id say, as Adam has mentioned, the most helpful thing currently is to upload that save so that they can take a look.

If you're unsure where to find your save game directory see the comment above from Adam - you can either upload it via the FTP (instructions found in the pinned topic on this forum) or alternatively use a filesharing site of your choice (most people use Google Drive or Dropbox).
