Why is this player in my game?

Start year is 1961. Career mode. Full minors. He didn't play after 1956. I noticed him because he is the top rated FA at 2.5 stars.

The NeL MLEs cover some players that had careers exclusively in Latin America or careers significantly comprised in Latin America. He is one of them. His career spans from 1949 to the late 60's if using the Major League Equivalency ratings for such players. In real life he pitched 2323.2 IP mostly in Venezuela. OOTP's minor league database doesn't have all his stats so you don't see him but the MLEs were derived from his full career.
