1971 Houston Astros Card Set

I published a book about that team a month ago called Orange Crush: The Neglected 1971 Houston Astros (https://www.huntsvilleindependent.co...e/orange-crush) and while I am able to find images of that team in some places, I know there are still plenty from Topps and from the Brace collection that I cannot find, and judging by the amount of great photos that have been uploaded here, I feel like this would be the place I could find them. The 1971 Astros photos are distinguishable by orange cap, sleeves, and socks, but still a wool button-front uniform and no neck/sleeve trim. I can provide examples if needed.

I really hope to find a goldmine here!
According to the Trading Card site (tcdb.com) there is in existence a set of 29 cards for the 1971 Houston Astros, black and white cards. Here is an example of Jesus Alou.

Thank yall for thr help. These are all images I've seen before. I'm hoping to see images from the old Topps Vault and Brace Collection that I haven't seen before. In many of the nearly 2000 pages on this mod, there are lots of Topps Vault and Brace Collection images, and I haven't been able to look at every single page, so I'm hoping there are some that are on here that I haven't seen that someone can bring back up, or that someone may have that they haven't shared yet and that they will now.

I appreciate yall

Have you considered searching by player name? "Search This Thread" pulldown on the red horizontal stripe near the top of each page, second from the right. Given that photos are not generally identified by year or photographer here (and only a tiny percentage of Topps Vault and Brace images are posted here, anyway) your best bet is to just go through player by player.

He was twice drafted by Arizona in 2000 and 2001 but didn't sign.

Leonard Swormstedt 1901

Cincinnati Commercial Tribune, October 13, 1901

Swormstedt debuted with the Reds on September 29th, 1901. The image may have been taken when he was with Minneapolis earlier that year.

Jackie Gallagher 1923

Here's not one, but two improvements for Gallagher. The first was featured in the 7/18/1982 edition of the Providence Journal and showed Gallagher in the late 20's playing local ball in Rhode Island. The second image shows him just before his call-up to the majors in 1923.

Brode Shovlin

While searching Brode Shovlin and found this in "Find a Grave": Major League baseball player in 1911-1920. Second baseman for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Browns.

Not a WASHINGTON Senator, I'm fairly certain.

This image is part of a series of photo postcards being offered by eBay seller Larry Fritsch Cards. On the other side, the name "Jim Ponner" is written, but nobody named Ponner has ever played OB. I suspect that is the name of the photographer.

Another similar card offered in the set has the name "Mike Miller" on the reverse, but as the image contains the names of several upstate NY locations on a fence (Owasco, Franklin, Finger Lakes, Cayuga), I suspect that these players played for the Geneva Senators, Washington's farm in the NY-Penn league during the final pre-Texas years of the franchise.

Here is a team photo of the 1970 Gen Sens, featuring Bill Madlock and his roommate in a sea of white dudes:
