ULB Openings for 2055

The ULB (Union League Baseball) is an OOTP26 Online League that started in 1995, and has now reached the 2054-55 Offseason.
We will sim four times per week between Opening Day and the Postseason in game (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Offseason will be simulated 6 days a week, with Monday or Tuesday being an off day.
Each regular season sim will span Friday-Friday on the game calendar. Offseason will vary from 4 days to 14 later in the offseason if most FA have signed.
League use Discord as primary mode of communication.
Please respect everyone. Consistent misconduct will result in ramifications/expulsion.

We've just reached the offseason, with FA now underway. Perfect time to jump in and make your mark on any of these franchises!

Open Teams:
Boston Colonials (83-79, 1st, Players League, Metropolitan Division)
The Colonials took the Metro Division, but lost the Divisional Cup to the St. Paul Saints in seven games. The pitching staff could use some improvement, while the lineup proved to be mostly solid toward the end of the season. Most of the team is set to return for next season. Boston could be a dominating team in this division if they can improve the pitching.

Montreal Expos (84-78, 4th, Players League, Northern Division)
The Expos are known for two things: Losing and Losing more. They finally broke out of their slump and captured a winning record last year, but still ended up in the basement in what turned out to be an ultra completive division and were forced to watch as the Saints, RedLeafs and Blizzard all made the playoffs. Looking at the numbers, the team still lacks a complete offense or pitching, but with the right changes, they could finally be a contender. GM should be prepared to step into a Division that has been dominated by St. Paul and Toronto for a long time. And Green Bay's not looking too shabby these days either.

Washington Senators (76-86, 3rd, Players League Metropolitan Division)
The Senators improved slightly over their previous season, but still ranked amongst the worst in the Players League in most offensive categories, while the pitching stats were somewhat better with the team finishing in the top 5 in several categories. The Starting Pitching still needs work, and the lineup definitely needs improvement. Historically, this division has been hard to judge, with the Division up for grabs every year.

Oakland Athletics (83-79, 2nd, Federal League Western Division)
With their GM incommunicado, Oakland is back on the Market after their debut season which saw them compete for a Clutch Cup spot before floundering towards the end of the year. Oakland has a staff of veteran mercenaries that took this team further than they should have gotten in spite of their poor offensive output. The lineup needs some major work. This will be year two of the reborn franchise.
