So that's what being a Panthers fan is like, huh? Feels familiar.

(See also Mets, Clippers, Gamecocks, Leicester City…I liked the 1980s when my problem was that the Mets and Raiders weren't winning as many titles as they should, not that they were struggling to stay above .500)

BTW, Jaycee Horn did clearly not "fall down" on the TD pass; Olave shoved him down before the ball got there, which is why Jaycee was on his knees with his arms spread wide asking the official (who saw the whole play) where the flag was? Of course it took FOX until halftime to show that angle and meanwhile Myers and Schlereth were just ignoring the issue.…

But after how the Panthers **** the bed in the second half it feels silly to complain about the ref giving NO a free 7 pts…

I wonder if there's ever been two games that both had a final score of 44-22 in the same week before.

Only thing the Panthers need to look at is the mirror.

I'm about done with this coaching staff. At least the offensive side of it. This was a golden opportunity for the team. W/Tampa's loss, they could have pulled even w/the Bucs in the win column. Instead, at home, vs a one win team, who most thought would be the worst in the NFL this year, they played passive. They never attacked. They were so conservative they made Mike Pence look like RuPaul.

They were lucky to score a TD. That drive would have ended in an INT if it wasn't for a Saints roughing penalty. They just dinked & dunked & got manhandled up front. 67 yds on the opening drive. 108 the rest of the game. And 71 of those came on the blocked FG drive were they got lucky & then fumbled the stupid ball away.

Let that sink in......on 7 drives, Panthers picked up 37 frikkin' yds on 24 plays.

Did you ever get the idea in that game that the Panthers offense ever tried to turn it up a notch? Did you ever feel like they made any adjustments to the game plan?

I honestly don't know what was more embarrassing........Bills doing whatever they wanted to 2 weeks ago, or the Panthers doing nothing they wanted to vs the Saints. I mean, do they want to score or not??!??!!

Taking the air out of the ball and limiting scoring opportunities made sense last week in Lambeau. At home against Tyler "Aw" Shough, it made…less sense. I mean, I saw more of Sam Martin's ass than even his wife wants to.

Speaking of the offensive line, was it really such a great idea to rush Cade Mays and Taylor Moton back in there, considering the success Jake Curhan and Yosh Nijman had last week? I'm not saying that it's comparable to watching Rico get back-to-back huge games only to sit him down when Chuba's healthy again, but Yosh did keep Micah Parsons from recording a QB pressure for the first time in Micah's entire career at Green Bay. It seems you could consider if that merited a few more snaps, healthy Moton or not.

I should point out that the Giants continued to play true to form, allowing Bobby Douglass, er, Caleb Williams to run all over them in final four minutes, so if Bru wants to compare disasters, he's welcome to chime in. But he's over them, he says.

You could be right, but that's not the only reason. Henry Ruggs of the Raiders killed a girl while intoxicated and speeding and only got roughly 3 years. He's still in prison, but due to be released within 18 months.

Come on, man.............
I don't get it either. The justice system in many places tend to go easy on people that don't intentionally hurt someone. Even though it's your choice to drink, drive, and in many cases speed, if your intent was never to hurt anyone, they go easy on you. IMO, if you act reckless, you should be punished. People know better, but do it anyway. I'm speaking as someone that drinks quite a lot. If it's easy for me, why is it hard for others? That's what bothers me.

I just watched John Oliver's piece on felony murder & I'm even more outraged this woman got only 3 years.

I'm just baffled by it. A few years ago, my wife's best friend got hit with her 3rd DWI.

This is supposedly an intelligent woman that has a good job paying way more than I earn. I don't think she drinks more than I do. But her choices are different. That's what bothers me about this. I'm not going to get into detail. But something my father taught me before I had a single drink.

Similar to how my mother drove in the point to not get a teenage girl pregnant, my father always taught me we have a choice. You either don't drink, or you don't drive. Don't ever do both. Both of them made sure to show me examples. My mother actually made me watch a movie at the age of 14 about a dude that got his girlfriend pregnant at the age of 17. What a nightmare.

Going by a lot of the Giants fans I know, and many online, they hate GM Schoen more, or just as much as Daboll. Letting one go and not the other was one of their fears.

This game isn't going to help anyone's QB Rating. As a Seahawks fan I am liking our chances against either of these teams if we meet them in the playoffs.

After watching last night's game I am convinced the game is still moving too fast for Jordan Love. There were way too many plays where Love had plenty of time to throw the ball but either checked it down or scrambled. You don't ever see that many with the good QBs unless they are under duress. He was not.

Love is good against crap defenses, but against a good D, you can't always check it down or scramble for a busted play. They do that because they need more time. A QB like Love that doesn't have the legs to run, they're called busts.

Lifeless offense. I feel like I'm watching the Brewers, but in football form.

It's like what Cobra has been saying. College does not prepare the QBs for the NFL. There is no incentive for them to do so. They just want to win at their level. They'll do what it takes to that end.

I wish these spring leagues that crop up would recognize this & try to prop themselves as a replacement for college football & not the NFL.
