After a horrible(-$80) Week 5 I have some serious catching up to do.

Week 6: Bankroll($445)

Philadelphia(-7.5) at NY Giants - LOSS - (Giants by 17) I feel like this could be a tossup but the Eagles are obviously the better team and more consistant, but can they beat the spread? ($5) ($440)

NY Jets(+7.5) vs. Denver - WON - (Broncos by 2) - Broncos are good but they haven't been blowing anyone out MAYBE the Jets can keep it close? ($5) ($445)

LA Chargers(-4.5) at Miami - LOSS - (Chargers by 2) - The Chargers are on the road which is always tough, but the Dolphins lost against the hapless Panthers($10). ($435)

Dallas(-3.5) at Carolina - LOSS - (Panthers by 3) Carolina is looking a little better than last year but Dallas is looking like they could be NFC East champions after their surprise tie against Green Bay. ($10) ($425)

New England(-3.5) at New Orleans - WON - (Patriots by 6) - The Patriots have to avoid a big letdown loss after a huge Bills win. The Saints finally showed signs of life against the Giants. ($40) ($465)

Indianapolis(-6.5) vs. Arizona - LOSS - (Colts by 4) Indianapolis is surprising people. The Cardinals blew a big one agianst the Titans. Could the Cardinals keep it close with a more self aware 4th quarter? I doubt it.($10) ($455)

Jacksonville(-1.5) vs. Seattle - LOSS - (Seahawks by 8) Jacksonville comes of a big MNF win against Chiefs. Seahawks injury riddled defence was exposed against Bucs. ($5) ($445)

LA Rams(-7.5) at Baltimore - WON - (Rams by 14) This all hinges on LaMar Jackson's health. I reserve the right to change this pick later on($5) ($450)

Pittsburgh(-4.5) vs. Cleveland - WON - (Steelers by 14) - Pittsburgh coming off a big win against Minnesota, but Cleveland does have that big Packers upset($5) ($455)

Tennessee(+4.5) at Las Vegas - LOSS - (Raiders by 10) - The Titans had a big win against the Bengals. The Raiders look pretty hapless overall ($10) ($445)

Tampa Bay(-2.5) vs. San Francisco - WON - (Bucs by 8)Winning two consecutive road games against good teams(they beat the Rams last week) is a tough ask for the 49ers without their starter, Purdy. The Bucs beat a good Seahawks team.($5) ($450)

Cincinatti(+14.5) at Green Bay - WON - (Packers by 9) I'm not saying the Bengals will win outright, but this is a huge spread and dogs have done well the past few weeks, and the Packers haven't won since week 2. ($40) ($490)

Buffalo(-3.5) at Atlanta - LOSS - (Falcons by 10) - There are scenarios where the Falcons can keep this close(the Bills defence is suspect), but more often than not I see the Bills winning comfortably. ($5) ($485)

Washington(-4.5) vs. Chicago - LOSS - (Bears by 1) - Things can go either way for the Jekyll and Hyde Commanders(they beat a good Chargers team but lost against an ok Falcons team the week before) but I don't know if the Bears can keep it close under the monday night lights. ($5)($480)

Total Bet = $160

Won my two big picks of the week, New England over New Orleans and Cincinnati to cover against Green Bay, so that puts me closer to my starting point with two games left to play.

Up $35 on the week so better than losing money. I'm feeling like gambling this week. I'm seeing some big spreads and I have been seeing dogs keeping things close or winning a lot this year.

Week 7 Bankroll: $485

Pittsburgh(-5.5) at Cincinnati - LOSS - (Bengals by 2) Pittsburgh is starting to look like they are a decent team. It is a road game so this is a bit of a gamble, even against abysmal Cincinnati. ($10) ($475)

LA Rams(-2.5) at Jacksonville - WON - (Rams by 28) The Jaguars are looking to improve after their loss to Seattle. The small spread makes me look towards the underrated Rams. ($10) ($485)

Tennessee(+6.5)_vs. New England - LOSS - (Patriots by 18) Not that I don't think the Pats should win this, but this is a big spread and the Pats and Titans have both played things pretty close much of the time. ($5) ($480)

Las Vegas(+10.5) at Kansas City - LOSS - (Chiefs by 31) - The Chiefs have only posted back to back dominating wins once. It's like they want to be good but aren't. ($5) ($475)

Cleveland(-2.5) vs. Miami - WON - (Browns by 25) - This is basically a coin flip I don't think either team wants to win this one. ($5) ($480)

Carolina(-1.5) at NY Jets - WON - (Panthers by 7 ) - The Jets are playing for the #1 pick at this point, this spread should probably be bigger($10) ($490)

Chicago(-5.5) vs. New Orleans - WON - (Bears by 12) The spread gives me pause but Caleb Williams is showing signs of growth and the Bears have won 3 straight. ($5) ($495)

Philadelphia(-1.5) at Minnesota - WON - (Eagles by 6) -I agonzied over this one since the Eagles have lost two straight but it's gotta end sometime one would think($5) ($500)

LA Chargers(-1.5) vs. Indianapolis - LOSS - (Colts by 14) - The Colts are a surprise team so far but 4 of their 5 wins have come against Miami, Tennessee, Las Vegas, and Arizona, not exactly the cream of the crop. ($20) ($480)

NY Giants(+6.5) at Denver - WON - (Broncos by 1) The Giants upset the Eagles last week I think they can at least keep it close in Denver if not win outright. ($40) ($520)

Arizona(+6.5) at Green Bay - WON - (Packers by 4) The Cardinals may not be winning lately but they have been keeping the games close, the Packers have been underwhelming in their last 3 games. ($40) ($560)

Dallas(+2.5) vs. Washington - WON - (Cowboys by 22) - Both teams have been pretty up and down so far, this could really be a coin flip, I'll go with the home Cowboys. ($5) ($565)

Atlanta(+2.5) at San Francisco - LOSS - (49ers by 10) The 49ers have lost 2 out of 3, the Falcons have won 2 in a row. The 49ers are in the tougher division though. ($5) ($560)

Tampa Bay(+5.5) at Detroit - LOSS - (Lions by 15) The Bucs are one of the most underrated teams and it shows in this spread. ($20) ($540)

Seattle(-3.5) vs. Houston - WON - (Seahawks by 8) Even though the Seahawks are flipping the script and doing better away from home than in Seattle this year, since this is a MNF game where the Seahawks historically do well I think the Hawks win big here. ($50) ($590)

After Week 7 Bankroll: $590 Week 6-Week 7 Difference: +$90

Had a big week 7 after a down week 6, let's keep the momentum up!

Week 8 Bankroll: $590

LA Chargers(-2.5) vs. Minnesota - WON - (Chargers by 27) Two average teams here, will go with the home team. ($5) ($595)

NY Jets(+6.5) at Cincinatti - WON - (Jets by 1) - Always loathe to bet on the Jets but they have played the last two games relatively close and the Bengals are not a great team. ($5) ($600)

Chicago(+6.5) at Baltimore - LOST - (Ravens by 14) - Lamar Jackson still appears to be out. ($5) ($595)

Atlanta(-7.5) vs. Miami - LOST - (Dolphins by 24) Miami is pretty bad, spread should probably be higher. ($20) ($575)

Carolina(+7.5) vs. Buffalo - LOST - (Bills by 31) - Buffalo has lost two in a row, Carolina has won 3 in a row, and it's at Carolina. Buffalo has Josh Allen, but he can only do so much. ($5) ($570)

San Francisco(-1.5) at Houston - LOST - (Texans by 11) The Seahawks were able to handle the Texans, the 49ers should also be able to I think. ($5) ($565)

NY Giants(+7.5) at Philadelphia - LOST - (Eagles by 18) - The defending super bowl champions have not blown anyone out all season. ($40) ($525)

New England(-7.5) vs. Cleveland - WON - (Patriots by 19) - The surprising Patriots have actually been blowing some teams out. ($10) ($535)

Tampa Bay(-5.5) at New Orleans - WON - (Bucs by 20) - I don't see the Saints hanging with the Bucs here. The Bucs will want revenge after losing to Detroit on MNF. ($40) ($575)

Indianapolis(-14.5) vs. Tennessee - WON - (Colts by 24) One of the best teams right now against one of the worst, at home. ($40) ($615)

Denver(-3.5) vs. Dallas - WON - (Broncos by 20) - The Cowboys are struggling on the road so far. ($5) ($620)

Pittsburgh(+3.5) vs. Green Bay - LOSS - (Green Bay by 10) - I'm thinking this will be a close game, two above average teams. ($5) ($615)

Kansas City(-10.5) vs. Washington - WON - (Kansas City by 21) - The Chiefs should be able to pick apart a below average Commanders defence. ($20) - $635

Total Bet: $205

Net +/- for Week 8 - +$45

Week 9 Bankroll: $635

Balitmore(-7.5) at Miami - WON - (Ravens by 22) Ravens seem to be recovering after a poor start. Miami still in the running for #1 pick. ($10) ($645)

LA Chargers(-9.5) at Tennessee - LOSS - (Chargers by 7) - Chargers get a blowout win after several underwhelming games. Tennessee has been blown out 3 games in a row. ($40) ($605)

NY Giants(+2.5) vs. San Francisco - LOSS - (49ers by 10) - Both teams have been very up and down, not a lot of confidence in either team($5) ($600)

New England(-5.5) vs. Atlanta - LOSS - (Patriots by 1) - Falcons could conceivably hang with the Patriots but player for player I feel the Patriots are obviously superior. ($10) ($590)

Green Bay(-12.5) vs. Carolina - LOSS - (Panthers by 3) - The Packers played very well against Pittsburgh but the spread might be tough to cover($5) ($585)

Detroit(-8.5) vs. Minnesota - LOSS - (Vikings by 3) Detroit has won 5 out of 6, Minnesota has lost two straight($20) ($565)

Indianapolis(-3.5) at Pittsburgh - LOSS - (Steelers by 7) - The Colts aren't flashy but they are consistantly good at the line of scrimmage and I don't see that changing here. ($40) ($525)

Denver(+1.5) at Houston - WON - (Broncos by 3) - Broncos have won 5 straight, I don't see betting against them here. ($50) ($575)

Chicago(-2.5) at Cincinnati - WON - (Chicago by 5) - This is a toughy, Williams has not been super and Cincinnati has a decent offence but is pretty bad on defence($5) ($580)

LA Rams(-13.5) at New Orleans - WON - (Rams by 24) - As long as the starters don't get taken out the Rams should cover. ($40) $620

Kansas City(+1.5) at Buffalo - LOSS - (Bills by 7) AFC Championship preview? Not gonna bet against Mahomes. ($5) $615

Jacksonville(-3.5) at LA Raiders - LOSS - (Jaguars by 1) - Jaguars should be able to handle this I think. ($20) ($595)

Seattle(-3.5) at Washington - WON - (Seahawks by 24) - Seahawks are possibly the most underrated team in football right now($50) ($645)

Arizona(+2.5) at Dallas - WON - (Cardinals by 10) - Dallas is at home but their defence is decimated. ($5) ($650)

Total Bet Week 9: $275

A poor start to Week 9 is made a little better by Denvers comeback win against Houston.

Net +/- Week 9: +$15

Week 10 Bankroll: $650

Las Vegas(+9.5) at Denver - WON - (Broncos by 3) - Denver continued their tendancy of playing close games despite being on a major win streak against Houston($10) ($660)

Atlanta(+5.5) at Indianapolis - LOSS - (Colts by 6) - Indianapolis came to earth against Pittsburgh, Atlanta almost came away with a win against New England. ($10) ($650)

Carolina(-5.5) vs. New Orleans - LOSS - (Saints by 10) The Saints defense is one of the worst in the league. ($50) - ($600)

Buffalo(-8.5) at Miami - LOSS - (Dolphins by 17) Miami seems to be trading away players before the trade deadline, so I could see the spread increasing if more trades are made. Buffalo's underperforming as favorites gives me pause though. ($50) ($550)

Cleveland(+2.5) at NY Jets - LOSS - (Jets by 7)Two struggling offenses, I'll go with the team with the better record.($5) ($545)

Tampa Bay(-2.5) vs. New England - LOSS - (Patriots by 5) New England is a cinderella story but the Bucs have only given up 9 points in their last two games and are coming off a bye week. ($30) ($515)

Chicago(-3.5) vs. NY Giants - WON - (Bears by 4) - Albeit agianst tough competition, the Giants have lost 3 straight, meanwhile the Bears have won 5 out of 6. ($30) ($545)

Jacksonville(+1.5) at Houston - LOSS - (Texans by 7) - I have been impressed by Houston's recent defensive effort, but I question if they can win without CJ Stroud.($5) ($540)

Baltimore(-4.5) at Minnesota - WON - (Ravens by 8) - Baltimore is already in playoff mode with 5 losses and LaMar Jackson returning from injury. ($20) ($560)

Seattle(-6.5) vs. Arizona - WON - (Seahawks by 22) - Seattle is starting to look like a possible Super Bowl contendor. ($50) ($610)

Detroit(-8.5) at Washington - WON - (Lions by 22) Jayden Daniels injury struggles could be the primary factor here. ($5) ($615)

LA Rams(+3.5) at San Francisco - WON - (Rams by 16) - Not that I don't think the 49ers won't win, I just think the Rams will cover($5) ($620)

Pittsburgh(+3.5) at LA Chargers - LOSS - (Chargers by 15) - Steelers coming off a statement win over the Colts. ($5) ($615)

Philadelphia(+2.5) at Green Bay - WON - (Eagles by 3) The Packers being upset by Carolina is concerning ($5) ($620)

Total Bet - $280

A rough morning as I lost two big $50 bets and then lost another game when Houston incercepted a pass on the final play of a game. Hopefully Seattle will win big against Arizona which it looks like they will as they are up 14-0 already.

A rough week overall but still up on the year.

Week 10 Net +/-: -$30 Week 11 Bankroll: $620

Week 11 Picks:
NY Jets(+11.5) at New England - Patriots are obviously the superior team on paper this year but it should be raining and I expect a lower scoring game which could make it difficult to cover the spread for New England.($5)

Miami(-2.5) vs. Washington - Surprisingly the lowly Dolphins can win their third out of 4 win a victory. ($5)

Pittsburgh(-4.5) vs. Cincinnati - The Bengals defence has been more respectable in recent weeks but they are still without Burrow and the Steelers tend to do better as the year goes on. ($10)

LA Chargers(-2.5) at Jacksonville - Yes, they do have to travel across the country but the Chargers have won three in a row and two by more than two touchdowns. ($30)

Buffalo(-5.5) vs. Tampa Bay - The Bills haven't lost at home coming off a loss yet this year. ($5)

Chicago(+3.5) at Minnesota - Coming from behind all the time isn't a normal good way to win games but it seems to be working for the Bears(for now anyways) - ($5)

Houston(-7.5) at Tennessee - Houston sometimes has problems playing 4 full quarters but they should be able to handle the Titans($30).

Carolina(+3.5)_at Atlanta - A better record(Carolina) and underdogs? They are on the road but I'll take it. ($5)

Green Bay(-7.5) at NY Giants - Feels like a trap game since the Packers seem to play a lot of close games and the Giants just lost their head coach, but probably the Giants lost their coach for a reason. ($50)

Seattle(+2.5) at LA Rams - The winner of the NFC West may be the conference champion this year?($30)

San Francisco(-2.5) at Arizona - The 49ers know they have to hold serve against the only subpar NFC West team. ($50)

Balitmore(-7.5) at Cleveland - Every game is a playoff game for the Ravens and with LaMar Jackson as quarterback I won't be betting against them much($50)

Denver(+3.5) vs. Kansas City - I have a feeling the Broncos feel like they are being disrespected in Vegas here. You are playing against the Cheifs, but still they are 8-2 and the Chiefs are 4-5. ($5)

Detroit(+1.5) at Philadephia - The Eagles just came off a big MNF win against Green Bay but Detroit may feel like they just need a few points to win here.($5)

Las Vegas(+3.5) vs. Dallas - The Cowboys homers are obviouisly driving this spread up and hopefully I can take advantage($5)

Total Bet = $290

Some solid upset picks(Bears, Panthers, Seahawks, Broncos) offset by some painstaking .5 point losses(Houston, Green Bay, Baltimore).

Week 11 Net +/-: -$60 Total Week 12 Bankroll $560

Buffalo(-5.5) at Houston - LOSS - (Texans by 4) -The Texans have been keeping things close minus CJ Stroud but that could change against the Bills high powered offence. ($5) ($555)

Baltimore(-13) vs. NY Jets - PUSH - (Ravens by 13) - The Ravens offense had it's worst performance in 4 games against Cleveland last week but they should get back in form against the Jets.($50)($555)

Minnesota(+6.5) at Green Bay - LOSS - (Green Bay by 17) The Packers are second to last in the NFL against the spread. ($10) ($545)

Seattle(-13) at Tennesssee - LOSS - (Seahawks by 6) Seattle should get back in form after losing verses the Rams. ($5) ($540)

New England(-8.5) at Cincinnati - LOSS - (Patriots by 6) The Patriots have shown the ability to blow out weak competition including beating the Jets by 13 and the Browns by 19($50) ($490)

Kansas City(-3.5) vs. Indianapolis - LOSS - (Cheifs by 3)This could be upset city but the Cheifs backs are against the wall if they want to make the playoffs. The Chiefs have not missed the playoffs since 2014. ($20)($470)

Pittsburgh(+3) at Chicago - PUSH - (Bears by 3)Even though the Bears have won seven out of eight it has been against mostly weak competion.($5) ($470)

Detroit(-10.5) vs. NY Giants - LOSS - (Lions by 7) At home versus one of the worst teams in the league, and Jared Goff needs a bounceback performance.($20) ($450)

Cleveland(+3) at Las Vegas - WON - (Browns by 14) Neither of these teams have great offenses, could go either way but I think Cleveland may have the better defense. ($5) ($455)

Jacksonville(-2.5) at Arizona - WON - (Jaguars by 3) The Jaguars have been beating the teams they should beat for the most part. Maybe they are better without Travis Hunter? ($5) ($460)

Atlanta(+2.5) at New Orleans - WON - (Falcons by 14) Hard to believe the Falcons are underdogs in this game for some reason.($5) ($465)

Philadelphia(-3.5) at Dallas - LOSS - (Cowboys by 3) Eagles are on a 4 game winning streak($20) ($445)

Tampa Bay(+6.5) at LA Rams - LOSS - (Rams by 28) Even though the Bucs have lost 3 out of 4 and the Rams just got a big win against the Seahawks, I think Baker Mayfield may keep this game close.($5) ($440)

Carolina(+7) at San Francisco - LOSS - (49ers by 11) At 6-5 the Panthers are suprisingly in the playoff hunt and this should be a close game as the 49ers rarely blow anyone out that is halfway decent.($20) ($420)

My worst week yet puts me well below .500 for the year.

Week 12 +/-: $-120 Week 13 Bankroll: $420

Week 13 Picks:

Green Bay(+2.5) at Detroit - WON - (Packers by 7) - Green Bay has righted the ship with two wins after two losses.($5) ($425)

Kansas City(-3) at Dallas - LOSS - (Cowboys by 3) - The Cheifs barely escaped last week with the season on the line. Hopefully it's not as close this week. ($5) ($420)

Cincinnati(+7) at Baltimore - WON - (Bengals by 18) - With a flurry of games closer than they should be lately, this seems like a classic trap. ($5) ($425)

Chicago(+7) at Philadelphia - WON - (Bears by 9) Not confident in the Eagles ability to cover the spread here.($5) ($430)

San Francisco(-4.5) at Cleveland - WON (49ers by 18) Cleveland could ride the Sanders train to a win here, but the 49ers probably have too much talent.($10) ($440)

Jacksonville(-6.5) at Tennessee - WON (Jaguars by 22) Jacksonville has won 3 out of 4. ($20) ($460)

Houston(+4.5) at Indianapolis - WON (Texans by 4) This looks like it could be a close game ($20) ($480)

Miami(-6) vs. New Orleans - LOSS (Dolphins by 4) Two below average teams makes me nervous and this could be a close low scoring game but I think the Dolphins should cover.($5) ($475)

Atlanta(-2.5) at NY Jets - LOSS (Jets by 3) Not because I think the Falcons are great but because I think the Jets are playing for draft position. ($10) ($470)

LA Rams(-8.5) at Carolina - LOSS (Panthers by 3) LA Rams, super bowl favorites?($50) ($420)

Tampa Bay(-3) vs. Arizona - PUSH (Bucs by 3) Yeah the Bucs are not in their best form but they are playing the Cards. ($20) ($420)

Seattle(-10.5) vs. Minnesota - WON - (Seattle by 26) The Seahawks may not be that healthy but they do not have the QB turmoil the Vikings have. It will be hard for the Vikings to keep the ball on the ground if they are playing from behind, which could lead to mistakes. Sam Darnold will be incentivized against his former team. ($50) ($470)

LA Chargers(-9.5) vs. Las Vegas - WON - (Chargers by 17) Can the new Raiders stafff get up to speed quickly?($20) ($490)

Buffalo(-3.5) at Pittsburgh WON (Bills by 19) - Even though this is in Pittsburgh in November, the Bills love cold weather and have not lost two road games in a row yet this year. ($5) ($495)

Denver(-6.5) at Washington - LOSS (Broncos by 1) though the Broncos have won their last 3 games by only three points each time, Washington's lack of pedigree should push them over the top. ($10) ($485)

NY Giants(+7)_at New England - LOSS (Patriots by 15) Even though the Patriots are obviously the better team, the Giants have been keeping them close with all 3 of their last 3 games being losses by a touchdown or less. ($5) ($480)

A better week this week than the previous two weeks put me close to the starting $500 mark.

Week 13 Net +/-: +$60 Week 13 Bankroll: $480

Week 14 Picks:

Dallas(+3) at Detroit - LOSS - (Lions by 14) Dallas seems to be the hotter team but this could probably go either way imo. ($5) ($475)

Seattle(-7.5) at Atlanta - WON - The Seahawks might be one of the top 3 teams in the league($50) ($525)

Washington(-1.5) at Minnesota - LOSS - (Vikings by 31) The Commanders almost beat the Broncos last week, Minnesota got shut out by the Seahawks($50) ($475)

Buffalo(-6) vs. Cincinnati - LOSS - (Bills by 5) Buffalo showed they are still formidable against the Steelers last week($10) ($465)

Tampa Bay(-8.5) vs. New Orleans - LOSS - (Saints by 4) Tampa Bay is pushing for a division title against one of the not so good defenses in the league($50) ($415)

Miami(-2.5) at NY Jets - WIN - (Dolphins by 24) The Dolphins are still theoretically in the playoff race so they have more incentive here. ($10) ($425)

Pittsburgh(+7) at Baltimore - WIN - (Steelers by 5) The Ravens may win but I think it will be closer than a touchdown. ($5) ($430)

Jacksonville(+1.5) vs. Indianapolis -WON - (Jaguars by 17) A good matchup but Jags are the hotter team recently($5) ($435)

Tennessee(+4.5) at Cleveland - WON - (Titans by 2) I don't think the Browns are really that much better than the Titans. ($5) ($440)

Las Vegas(+7.5) vs. Denver - WON - (Broncos by 7) Denver wins games but never by much. ($20) ($460)

Chicago(+6.5) at Green Bay - LOSS - (Packers by 7) I think Vegas is underestimating Caleb Williams here. ($5) ($455)

Arizona(+8.5) at LA Rams - LOSS - (Rams by 28) The Rams lost last week and inter division matchups in the NFC West tend to be competitive. ($5) ($450)

Houston(+3.5) at Kansas City - WIN - (Texans by 10) I'm sure the Texans would love to be the ones to knock the Chiefs out of the playoffs for the first time since 2014. ($5) ($455)

Philadelphia(-2.5) at LA Chargers - Chargers may have a playoff run in them but the Eagles have been improving after a so so start.($5)
