Found a new, fun way to play - as playing a historical replay - I converse with CoPilot AI about it - learn some neat facts - I wish CoPilot would not 'wing it' and forget its mind or improvise - can't use it to make a schedule - but Claude.AI is a great coding AI and does not wing it or improvise - CoPilot calls it 'drifting' and CoPilot drifts a lot.

Yes, i hear you. Using first copilot and then Chat GPT I've managed to bridge the learning gap that existed between me and baseball and in doing so increase my engagement with and entertainment value of OOTP.

I have found GTP better in terms of drifting than CoPilot but both still struggle over time to remain fully in sync. However that's why i started using it to create a whole bunch of reference material sources on different topics about OOPT and refine it. I've had much better success with that.

I also play historical, but i often make it so players turn out different depending on the personality, coaching and development vagaries.I once asked GPT to give me a list of players who shone brightly but for bad luck, disaster, crime, death, injury etc.. may've turned out different. As I go through history if one or two of those guys look interesting then i will try and draft them and see how I go changing their fortunes.

There are just so many ways people can find unique entertainment value from OOTP

I've "talked" with ChatGPT about the game a bit lately and it has some good insights into why certain teams are more/less successful in OOTP than they were in real life, etc. I've also had it predict matchups when I've had teams from different eras face off and it does pretty well with some good reasoning. Some interesting stuff.
