Can you start a new game using a template

I have a game I'm playing and a saved a template of it.Can I create a new game using it . If so how do I do it thanks for any help

What I do is I get my league 'baseline' nailed. My template.

I think copy it to 'year'_start_here folder - and if you want to use it to make a new league, just copy it to saved_games folder

If league is large - zip it up and unzip it :-)
