I can never even attempt to sign a player over $5mm on July 1. Say's I don't have the money. There is some bug saying I have offered money out (I don't). About 6 seasons in and not resolving. My team is barely above the floor so there isn't anything I am missing.

Not sure if this was resolved in the Oct 31st past - I see something about "NHL free agents will no longer sign between July 1 and the draft",, but I believe it is a different issue.

Could you upload a save where you're getting that message? Sounds like something may be incorrectly lowering your available free agent spending amount, but we'd need to see the save to know exactly what's going wrong.
