Adding Custom Leagues - Salaries vs League Rep
I believe this is a bug
When you add a new custom league on July 1st for Custom Games the salaries are way off versus the league rep. I help show what is going on, i did a test. I created a new Custom Save and then added a new league once the game started on July 1 to highlight what is happening. Ive attached 2 screenshots. One showing the League Data for a league i created on July 1st, and the second showing the players created with salaries. Is this something that can be addressed for FHM12? I want to build out a large custom save, but it's really difficult to do it in one sitting when you're adding 20 or so leagues. Another idea, if this would be easier, is to allow the commissioner to edit the 4 salary categories for a league (Bad, Average, Good, Top) in the league edit page. I just want to re-flag this and report as a bug. This remains an issue in FHM12.
Can you please address this in a future update. |

I can't seem to replicate this - with a 0.6 reputation for a major league, the typical salary ranges are $40k (bad) to 150k (top). I think I'll need to see one of your saves to figure out what's going wrong there.

0.6 Rep salary in NHL logic system is different tham.i. Promo/Rel logic system. Promo/Rel salaries are +/- kinda in line with standard game.
Even though above issue occurs also when adding a league in commisioner mode |

Hey Jeff
Thank you for looking deeper into this issue. I uploaded a copy of the save file to the FTP, named "Adding Custom Leagues - Salary vs League Rep." Please note, I deleted the Graphics Folder from the save to reduce the file size. The save is using the most recent version of FHM12. Here are the steps I followed: 1) Created a new Custom Game. 2) Added a fictional Major League. 3) Started the game. 4) Entered Commissioner Mode. 5) Clicked on "Add League." 6) Added a new league with a Reputation of 0.6. The issue is that the newly added league has a Reputation of 0.6 but is showing salaries typical of a league with a Reputation of 1.0. Sorry to harp on this, but it's a really important issue for anyone trying to build a large custom game. Is this something that can be addressed in the next update to FHM12?
As it stands, you can't realistically add additional leagues to a custom game on July 1st after the game has already started. If you do, the financial data for the newly added league will be completely inaccurate. This is a major issue for anyone trying to build a large custom game. Unless you're able to stay at the computer for several hours straight, it's not really feasible. This seems to be a core feature that is currently not working appropriately. |
