Importing issue
I have a save from FHM 11. I've tried to import it into FHM 12 but I get an error message stating "Make sure to import only FHM10 saves on July 1"
As stated this is an FHM11 save still in the pre-season, September 22nd is the in-game date. Any ideas? |

I'm getting this as well. I am actually version-jumping all the way from 8, and the importing through 11 went fine but I am now getting this message with 12.
I actually went back and got the "FHM 10" version of my save, since I have not advanced the league any (it is still on July 1 in-game), but I still get this message either way. |

The save must be on July 1 in-game for the import to work, the conversion needs to adjust things that can't be changed in mid-season.

EDIT: Sorry, I figured it out. I uploaded to FTP: "version10-save_error" and "version 11-save_error" zip files. Even if there is something pre-FHM11 that's not playing nice with 12, I'm getting the error even with the FHM11-converted save. Both the FHM10 and FHM11 saves, which are both July 1 in game, provoke the same error. Last edited by LloydLungs; 10-23-2025 at 09:50 PM. |

Thanks, we'll take a look. We ran multiple saves through the converter earlier in the week with no issues, but maybe there's something different in yours.

Those were actually both FHM10 saves - could you send the version that was imported into FHM11, after the import finished?

However, now it is telling me I don't have permission to upload to the FTP server, so I'll e-mail it. |

Got it, but that was still a 10 save - I could open it in FHM10, that'd be impossible if it was converted 11. I put it in my FHM11 save folder, opened 11 and converted it, saved, and then copied the files over to my FHM12 save folder and converted it to 12 successfully. I'm guessing you missed a step at some point, but if you try again, starting with that save in the FHM11 save folder, it should work.

Hmmm, the bolded is my possible missed step? I did not save after FHM11 converted it. I assumed it saved automatically during that process, and I had no issues converting 8 -> 9 or 9 -> 10 without that step, so if that is needed, that's why I was having the issue. Sorry to take up your time with it but I'm glad to get clarification!

Yup, that was probably it, let me know if you have any more issues with it.
