AI still making random trades

There were a lot of these issues in FHM 11 and it seems that is still the case in FHM 12. A lot of star players getting traded for no reason.
Latest trade was Lightning trading Vasilevskiy for Panarin. Lightning looks like they are going to be a playoff team and trading their number 1 goalie does not really make sense. Their best goalie now is Jonas Johansson at 2,5 stars.

Seattle traded Joey D'Accord for Zibanejad. Now they have 2,5 stars goalie Grubauer as number 1.
Now the goalies for New York Rangers right now (which by the way looks like they will miss the playoffs):
Andrei Vasilevskiy 4,5 stars
Igor Shesterkin 4,5 stars
Joey D'Accord 3,5 stars

Why would they stock up goalies like that?

I know it's a game and it's hard to replicate real life, but I think the AI roster management logic needs a lot of tinkering.

Edit: Rangers also got Victor Hedman for J.T Miller. The defense for the Lightning looks terrible now.
