I have purchased all 11 versions prior to this one. And continued to notice that the development team just wasn't listening to their customers at all.
The new features just don't scream at me to buy this game at all. Maybe when the new update with the changes to the 2D engine I will think of buying this game but that is going to be highly likely. I am sorry for feeling this way. I feel like not enough have been improved on in this game. Less focus on other leagues and more focus on getting the NHL, AHL and ECHL fixes especially the game engine. How are you feeling? Sorry for being negative here but I just want to voice my disappointment. |

I tend to buy every other year, with a few exceptions.
There seemed to be a few new things that encouraged me. The training system is interesting and something I'm excited to learn more about. I had just been thinking about how, during this NHL preseason, every player has been talking about how they have been working on things over the summer... so I think the new training sounds like it is replicating that. Also, the new draft elements sound cool. Would love to see the 2D engine improve, but I think I say that every year.

Yeah, I hate to join the negativity, but I generally guy FHM (and OOTP) every other year or so. Since I have FHM 10, this would have been the year to buy, but I really don't see much difference, so I'll probably stay with 10 and see what next year brings.
I agree about the efforts to add and expand other leagues. I only use the NHL, so none of that means anything to me. |

This thread isn't going to last long lol. That said, I haven't even played the game yet so I can't say too much. I do like the new training aspect, which should help players be more suitable for tactics. I'm optimistic about the draft day trading and news and I'm looking forward to seeing what upgrade is coming later for 2D.
People are entitled for feel how they want, but when it comes to yearly sports titles, I think people have slightly unrealistic expectations. |

If you do not feel FHM12 is the game for you, then I'm really sorry you feel that way. However, to say we're not listening to our customers is patently false. Multiple new features in FHM are exactly what people asked for as I even pointed out in the live stream. We listen to our customers. We have an active thread for thoughts and wishes for 12 (and as it says, Beyond) because we're always gathering ideas for what future games can incorporate. It's a long list, and, as I've said previously, not everything gets in. You may not get something you want, but other people have - and they can be excited for it. Others can be disappointed about it too. We're glad people are excited for 12 and we're happy people are passionate about the game. However, I will not allow a discourse that is untrue here to continue.
