editing regions

I want to edit regions to add more regions. I see a thread for 2012 but don't know how accurate the info is still now

I do not know what the old thread says but to edit/ create regions in 26 go:

Game/Explore World/Regions.

Then there is a button in the upper right corner that says "Add Region". It is all pretty straight forward and easy to do.

i meant so that I only have to edit the regions one time. not for every save

They're at the bottom of the world_default.xml file in the database folder.

I usually just copy one and then edit it. Easier if you keep another copy open separate so you can search for nation/state/city IDs.
