Can we fix the online league free agent contracts?

I've seen so many posts about this and while there have been several patches addressing it it just keeps consistently happening. It is incredibly frustrating for such a large core of your player base.

We are really seeing the issue for minor league contracts with major league bonuses.

Here is a output of what a team with a bad status sees.

If we looked at the offer history of this team and the team that is leading we see the following.

The first is the trailing team in bidding. The trailing team's demand goes up and does not match the team that has the high bid. The team that is currently ahead never sees the demand go up.

IMO, something is wrong with date in the export files. This behavior is not seen unless the teams are the one's who export.

Our only recourse is to assume that your offer was exceeded by another team if you get a status report of a player where the new demand is less than the old offer. However you have zero idea what $$ to give in a new offer as the demand is simply wrong.

The majority of cases appear to be minor league deal with MLB options, although I have see 1 MLB offer where a team goes a status update where the new demand was less than the previous offer.

So are the issues that remain in this mostly related to the counter-demands? Earlier on the issues were about offers going missing, or phantom previous offers showing up, but those should have been fixed.

If so, could you link to or upload the league files for us to see, with a player in this state with the weird demands. That would give us the best picture of the state of things.

Sorry I missed this request. I uploaded an earlier save of our league that has this behavior. The file is TGS-240-Test.lg.zip and the player shown above with the issue is Jon Sandez

We'll have some fixes for this in the next patch.
