OOTP Go 26 for IPhone crashing

Hello,

I saw in App Store there was a new update yesterday - and the game is now crashing every time I try to advance to the next day. Is anyone else having crashing issues since the most recent update - OOTP Go 26 on iPhone?

Thank you - did the traces allow you to identify the issue or anything that can be fixed on my end via a setting change, etc?

The traces indicated that there might be an issue advancing due to the Texas League (AA league), but the exact cause of the issue is unclear at the moment. It could be a schedule thing, or even some odd case with player movements, or who knows what. I havent been able to reproduce on my end, just running out a sim for a while. But it sounds like it could be related to the recent patch as you've alluded, so we'll take a look at what was changed to see if anything seems related to this. If you had the game on Android it would be possible for you to send us your league file, but unfortunately being on iOS there is very limited access. So at the moment, I'd say sit tight and hopefully we can think of what might have caused the issue (or at the very least a workaround).

Actually, could you send me the dates of certain league events, like your IAFA reveal, IAFA signing date, Rookie Draft reveal, Rookie draft, etc.?

IAFA showcase reveal is 90 days prior to signing date (October 17th)

IAFA signing date is 1/15

Draft Date July 11

Draft reveal is 90 days prior (April 12th)

Trade deadline July 31

Ah ok, so there arent any league events that fall on or near your current date? Maybe even playoffs for the AA league or something like that? I guess AA all-star voting begins on that date?

Could you try to turn off the All-Star game in the settings > options > All-Star Game Settings, and see if that allows you to advance a day?

I have hold all star game unchecked - it’s still crashing when I try to finish the day

Ok, it was worth a try. That might have just disabled the All-Star game for the MLB, not for the Texas League. On desktop you can change the league you want to adjust the options for, but I don't think there's an ability to do that on Go. I'll have to ask around and get back to you on this

Oh actually, can you try changing the league selected to the Texas League (in the top left corner), then when you have the Texas League selected, turn off the All-Star Game, and try advancing

In team Home Screen I switched to AA level but when I go into settings it seems to revert to major league setting. Another detail - I’m the Blue Jays - my AA is Eastern league - I don’t see a minor affiliate that’s Texas league.

I dont think the Jays have affiliate in the Texas League. You can switch the leagues directly after going to the settings > options screen

All star game and it advanced a day
