Why can't we have Cap go up year by year.?

I love the game, but there are two things I would love to see.

1. The cap needs to go up year by year like it does in the NHL.

2. Also, too many deals happen early, and too many players change teams too quickly. Can't we have it lowered during the early months? It's unrealistic.

On July 1st, you can edit the cap and floor to whatever you want it to be. I gradually worked it up with the increments that the real NHL plans for the next few years. And now, in the year 2067 the Leafs still haven't won another Cup and I can still increase it when needed.


I do agree on #2.

1. Because it doesn't help the AI team management and cap issues due to huge player contracts.

2. Most major player signings in Free Agency are within the first week.
