Issue:

I am having an XML parsing error. It may be a conversion problem, so I am hoping someone can help.

Error message:

I used Excel to separate columns and edited the home and away games. I then, combined the columns again, saved the column as value, meaning only the text value, not combination formula. I then copied and pasted the information into a Notepad file (I used one of GMO's schedule files as the base) with all the matching parameters.

Please help me to know if these boxes showing up in the above attached file is where the issue is (as in, an obvious Excel copy/paste issue. Or, is there something else I should be doing.

I can't help with the XML issue that you are facing but wanted to drop a note as I play with the exact league configuration that you are working on and had some schedules created a few years ago for 60, 138, and 162 game schedules. Happy to share if you are interested.

They may be in the full schedule database. I actually used GMO's 138-game schedule as a base for setting up the 136-game schedule. There were a few features that I wanted for my league, including always six games played per week per team. If I cannot figure out how to make my schedule work, then I may consider using some of the other schedules already made. But I like the setup of my schedule.

Gotcha. Yes, gmo made these for me and I do believe they are in the database. Good luck though...hope you figure out the issue. Maybe try a different txt editor? Sometimes programs insert random EOL characters that are hidden.

The non-printing characters suggestion from koohead sounds possible, but that does not seem to jibe with the error message. If you can attach the file here, I will look into it.
