[Catchers Interference]

Has anyone who started a Live Start save after the deadline noticed 2026 All-Star players showing that designation on their profiles? I’ve started two saves since the deadline, and neither has had the correct All-Star selections appearing on player pages.

This game desperately needs a "Randomize Personalities" function. Certain players are always unrosterable like Lucas Erceg. Others, like Roman Anthony, rarely have much of a career because the game made them as dumb as a brick. Anthony has 57/200 IQ and 35/200 Handle Failure. That's ridiculous. I don't expect y'all to get every player's personality right, but that's why the League Creation and League Functions absolutely NEED a randomize option.

I play through all my team's games as the field manager.

One thing that is really tedious is when I want my first baseman to play off the bag when there's a runner on first who isn't a threat to steal, I have to click off the Hold Runner box on every pitch. That requires me to go to pitch-by-pitch mode and click the box after each pitch. It would be much better if I could simply tell my first baseman ONCE not to hold the runner--at the beginning of the current at-bat--and then I could continue to play in one-pitch mode and not have to click the box before every pitch. This would then be similar to all the other defensive positioning strategies, such as DP depth and shifts, all of which remain in effect throughout the duration of the current batter's plate appearance.

To any developer who might be reading this: Thanks for your consideration on this. This would be a big time-saving convenience for me, and it's logical to boot.

You wouldn't happen to have a short list of these "unrosterables" would you? Besides Erceg and Anthony? Bc I'd like to go in and edit my world template that I'll start all new games in and fix these up.

Mind you, it shouldn't have to be done manually this way, but what are the alternatives, short of a roster fix?

Hire CBL Cardinal as a consultant, CBL Cardinal, and put him in charge of rosters. He does a lot of heavy lifting. Should be recognized. FYI, I have not used his roster sets myself, but they sound awesome.

Sorry. I should have been more specific. I'm trying to do a 2024 offseason start. Both players were non-tendered at the end of 2024. But they still remain on the roster with new contracts in OOTP 26.

When does the offseason start start? According to BBRef, they were granted free agency Nov. 22.

In the game you start at Nov 22nd, but also every major free agent, Soto Snell and the rest are already free agents. And you don't have the option for Arbitration. So, Quantrill and Rodgers are just signed for the next season. And also, it doesn't account for injuries.

I've been a big fan of the game for a few years now, ever since I discovered it. However, in my time of playing, and even more so now, seemingly, the AI managers tend to make some pretty poor decisions. AKA forcing capable or even good defensive 2B, 3B, and SS players to play a large amount of innings at 1B. Examples from my personal save in 2026 include, Gunnar Henderson, CJ Abrams, Alex Bregman, and others. There's just simply no world where that should realistically be happening.

How many years have we been asking for this? The CPU should have to warm up pitchers, too. And we should be able to see who's warming up. PLEASE make this update already!

Strategy wise, this would certainly give us an idea of potential pinch hitting opportunities or holding a bench player to see what the CPU is doing so as not to burn him in the game. Would be a pretty cool addition and another layer of the "game within the game".

It may be more difficult to code than anyone knows but it would add to the sim aspect and realism for those of us playing out our games.

Development Lab request to allow a larger range of dates to move struggling or frustrated players and/or swap in new players into the lab. Online leagues generally move through the off-season very quickly, which means we miss that precious one day window. A seven day window would provide more coverage.

Similar to the "silly" injuries that OOTP is known for and has a love/hate relationship. For examples:

"Bones Ely didn't get his wake up call and the bus left him behind. He will not be available for one game."

"Nolan Ryan was accidentally left at a gas station outside of Amarillo on our road trip."

Honestly I want to see Game Difficulty related settings, which is recategorize from game settings, you can add some

I use the custom search and click work ethic and baseball IQ. Sort to low, and then edit the players I want to adjust

In a future version, could we have the location of the fg_files directory be customized like all of the other folders, like jersey, logo, ballparks, etc? Many of us have a growing library of fg files, and it is a pain to keep multiple copies (one per game version), of the same files.

I'm desperately waiting also...don't really want to proceed my save into the offseason until a new patch
