Regional Leagues

Okay. I used to know how to do this but it isn't working for me right now. Maybe someone out there can lend a hand? I want to create a regional universe where clubs and players all come from different regions. It was easy enough to set up, however, once I get to the offseason both leagues share the same free agent list. That isn't what I'm looking for. I want a separate free agent list for each league in the game (right now testing with two leagues) and have the game populate those lists with players from that respective region only. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Go into your financial settings and make sure free agents aren't able to sign with other leagues and/or prevent the league from signing FAs from other leagues.

I will check that. Thanks. Do you think that will create a separate free agent list for each league?

Yes, even as free agents they're assigned to whatever league they were in before becoming FAs (you can see it in the editor.)

If you make it so a league can't sign from others or their own players can't leave the league, they'll stick within the league.

Genius! I couldn't find those settings because I had reserve clause clicked. You have to unclick it to see all of that and then re-click reserve clause if you wanted to keep that. It all came back to me once I did it! Thanks again!
