Something wrong with drafts when start 1901 league onwards

I started up a historical league in 1901. Finished it and moved to 1902 but no draft appeared. Have finished 1902, and moved to 1903, but for some reason, the draft, which now works, not only has 1902 and 1903 players available to draft, but players like Sherry Magee who debuted in 1904. Have included a screenshot with players like Magee, and you can clearly see the date in the bottom left.

Any idea how this crazy mixup happened? Will this mean I have no players in the 1904 draft?

Also, one of the small joys of the historical leagues is seeing the small-sample guys and how they play. For some reason, they are gone from my game. For example, Benny Bowcock and Gene Curtis should have showed up in 1903, but they are nowhere to be found on my database.

I didn’t spend money on OOTP Go 26 to have a worse experience than 25!
