How to stop players from retiring
what's the trick to get players to not retire? I thought it may be the aging attribute but I'm seeing some at 10, some at 13.
Thought it would be age but seeing players retiring at 30 or later thought it might be whether they have a contract or not, but some players with multiple years left are retiring |

forgive me, I guess I posted this last year as well. Someone previously mentioned maxing out the Aging ability to 40 to prevent players from retiring
Poor Casey DeSmith (DAL), at age 33, even his aging ability set to 40, one 3 tries of moving from June 30 to July 1, he still retires (with no recent injuries in his history). I gave up and just re-imported him to my new yearly save. But I think the retirement decision-making still has a bit of work to be done. it's funny most of the other retiring players, that I changed the aging attribute to 40, didn't retire, but respectable back up goalie DeSmith keeps getting chosen. I even verified his contract wasn't expiring |
