- No historical minor leagues in GO.
- Teams back then did not use as many players during the season as now. So, you'll have fewer on the reserve roster.
- I'm not sure about ST. It may not actually be available for the first season, since the created league begins a few days prior to OD (same as the desktop version).
- No screen for important dates in GO, AFAIK.
- The ASG issue must be a bug of some kind.
- No option in GO to import historical stats, AFAIK.
- No minor league stats in GO, except perhaps in the standard (current) league.
- No temporary control of a second team in GO, AFAIK.
- No Negro leagues in GO.

Understood.

There do seem to be missing players who appeared in MLB games, based on Baseball Reference data. Not sure what the cut-off may have been for inclusion. With limited reserve rosters, it can be hard to deal with an injury.

As to Spring Training, the season started on January 1, 1927. But when I hit the button to advance to the next day, it jumped to April 11. There is an option for ST, and I had it checked.

The Home Screen mentions playing with minor leagues. But I did not find any option within Settings. it would be great to at least have the AAA players (or whatever the top level was called in 1927) available. I have played similar seasons on OOTP, and the PCL at the time had many quality players who apparently were happy playing on the Coast.

I don't think there's a cut-off for inclusion. Who are some of the missing players?

I created the 1975 season yesterday and I know the date wasn't January 1 when I checked. It was a few days before OD. So, I'm at a loss to explain what you saw. Hmm.

Minor leagues are available if you begin a standard league (2025 season). GO should probably be clearer about what is not included from the base game. New users can be expecting more.

A couple of quick notes. Overall enjoying new the version and I think its great. I do find when playing in a fictional park on my iPad the animation isnt as smooth as when I am playing in Wrigley or Fenway. Also, on the nit picky side, and I didnt notice this in last years version, on many pop ups on the infield while fielder is making the play in the middle of the diamond the PbP has him either drifting into foul territory or near the stands. Not a deal breaker for me by any means but I thought I would mention it

OOTP GO allows you to play OOTP anywhere from you phone or tablet. It does not have all the bells and whistles that a desktop version has but is playable. It also serves as a gateway to Perfect team on the go.

I played ootp exclusively on pc until around version 21, but as someone who doesn't use the computer much anymore, having ootp go is a great alternative. I love just being able to lie in bed and fire up the game from my phone.

I mostly play my games out in one pitch manager mode, and with the animation speed on very fast, I can get through 3 or 4 games in 30 minutes.

As far as how it compares directly to the pc version, obviously it's not as detailed and is missing some things like commish mode, and there are some weird font issues that pop up here and there, but it's still very detailed

I don't use pt mode, so I can't speak on that

Thanks for adding Locked cards filter in manage rosters. This is huge for PT users.

Hm that's an interesting point, might be related to the custom fictional park creation. I'll test it and see if I find anything

I got hooked on this game by chance in 2022 but only by watching other gamers play it online. When you made ootp go '24 free to play I was absolutely overjoyed and have played that hundreds of hours since. And have enjoyed it so much that I thought I'd make my first ever app purchase in the decade I've owned a smartphone. So congrats on that! Though, 4 days in and I'm already worried the biggest reason for taking the plunge and upgrading to '26 (scouting) is going to be too much to handle. But at least I can turn it off if I want to.
ANYWAY, I have a question/suggestion about the layout on the stats tab of any player. Between batting, pitching, and fielding stats, in '24 I could rename and reorder the individual pages in the drop-down selection. However, '26 doesn't have that. It was extremely useful to me and I hope that customization will be made available soon in a future update.
Theoretically it wouldn't even have to be done in the same fashion as it was in '24. You could theoretically have each save file include/"remember" the last tab open for each stat tab individually (batting, pitching, fielding) instead of just the last tab accessed (ie, if I last looked at the 3rd stat category in the fielding tab, the next time I opened any individual player stat page it would always open the 3rd stat category page) Unfortunately for my tastes, the most relevant stat page isn't the same between those 3 stat tabs.
Does that make sense?
Anyway, other than that, I'm so excited to have finally found the GM games genre especially for baseball. I was a strat-o-matic nerd in my childhood, but ootp is so much more involved, it's amazing. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback
Scouting can be a lot for the first time. I'd recommend actually turning it to High accuracy so you still get a bit of a feel for it, but it'll still play pretty similar to scouting being off.
I can check out the tab customization, I don't think we intentionally removed anything so I'll need to look into it.

I’m new to OOTP Go, though I played the computer version many years ago. I’m really enjoying playing on my ipad! I do wish, however, that rules around 40 man rosters, players options, rule 5 draft, etc were a part of this.

Perhaps in the future, the full game could be optimized for tablet? That would be a dream!

What’s the deal with the Clubhouse Shop?

I have been playing OOTP GO for several years and I love it, but I am having an issue with 26. I have earned 135 Clubhouse Stars, but I can’t buy any of the featured cards. Is there a tutorial for the Clubhouse Shop?

Those are all part of the game, you just have to enable them in the advanced settings (not sure why the default is off)

Larkin in the clubhouse shop is 200 stars, I'm not sure where the 20 you saw was listed. If you check in your transaction history, you should be able to see what the game processed.
