"Start Game" CTD

Cannot ftp save_game zip files because OOTP's ftp server named here: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...p-developments as: ftp://ootpsupport.com/incoming/ootp/saved_games/
cannot be found by either Windows' native ftp or by Filezilla. Please provide server name that can receive files.

Windows 11 Home. 8th season of historical league, 33rd game, NY1 at CIN. First of play session; IDR whether I closed OOTP the night before. Â“Start GameÂ” was followed by a couple of seconds of crowd noise, then CTD.
Tried: re-starting OOTP; save/reload; troubleshooter to check game file integrity; warm boot; cold boot.
Can still use autoplay. Went forward 3 days, then tried to play the 4th. Â“Start GameÂ” crashed in same way. Autoplayed 1 more day before trying again. Â“Start GameÂ” still crashed.
No mods except that I have loaded some of Silvam14Â’s historical ballparks. Crosley Field was loaded prior to 1919 season; 78 games played there successfully.

I tried loading the save of another league. Same bug.

The only difference was that OOTP reported the current game as "in progress." Still crashed when I pushed "Start Game." Has OOTP24 been broken by an update?
