There should be separate options for Defense and Pitcher Stamina. I'm pretty sure they would have been the same options in OOTP 19 as they are now. 1-Year, 3-Year, or Career.

It sounds like you have chosen Career. Unfortunately, in older versions of the game you aren't able to adjust these settings once you have started a Save so you would need to create a new save to get the options you want.

Newer versions of the game allow you to adjust those settings after league creation.

Settings as mentioned in the linked post: everything set for 3 Year Recalc & Double Weight for the current year. Player Dev is turned off.

Don't know what to tell you then, 3-Year Recalc works as expected in the current version of the game.

I don't remember it Not working in the 19th version of the game the last time I ran a career game. Have played various versions going all the way back to OOTP 4, and am fuzzy on remember it being an issue in those. But it has been several years, I'm getting to be an old fart now, so maybe the memory if fading on games I've loved over the year. :-)

You should pick up OOTP26. For historical games OOTP is so much more refined currently than where it was in OOTP19. The defensive ratings and pitcher stamina ratings have all been recalibrated sine then too.
