Manual control of AHL & ECHL farm teams.
Hi. I'm appealing to the Dev team to remove the restriction for single-player multi-GM games where you cannot have a human GM of any Farm Team. Managing an NHL team alongside an AHL, or even ECHL team, has a lot of benefits both in terms of being a rich gameplay experience while also holding truer to the actual business of professional hockey.
Control Over Decisions: I don't want my Farm Team GMs to sign players to fill roster spots to compete with my Prospects. I don't want them to hire bad staff or fire good staff. Player Development: By hiring the best coaches and staff for my Farm Teams, staff style preferences can be matched through the entire NHL>AHL>ECHL hierarchy. Prospects should develop faster in a way that best fits their future role in the NHL, allows a clearer understanding of the Prospects ability to perform within a consistent system. Division of Labour: By assigning the Scouts of my Farm Team, I get a wider distribution of scouting without tying up NHL-level scouts. Game Play Efficiencies: Controlling an NHL and AHL team doesn't require controlling the ECHL affiliate. By aligning the NHL and AHL teams, most of the non-Roster decisions will align. Two teams should not mean twice the work, or twice the time required to complete a season. I've enjoyed this style of gameplay since EHM2007. So long as there is no negative impact to Online Leagues, this playing style could easily fit alongside what fans expect from the FHM series. |

Couldn't have said it better my self! I agree on all of your suggestions! 🙂 I also love to manage the European Leagues such as Swedish Hockey League and I would love to have the option to change the font and theme in the game 😃

Still been banging the drum for it for years, but I really want more customization options for leagues (namely custom/fictional but it could be applied in general). Specifically I want the ability to set up the playoff format how I want, like we can in OOTP. The pre-determined formats still limit it and even the custom format option is still strict. Like I have a 20 team league and don't want to have one extreme (16 of 20 teams make it) or the other (only 8 teams in, so less than half the league), I've wanted to set it to 12 but the only option for that is the old 70s NHL where it throws conferences out the window and it's chaos after the initial round.
I imagine others can speak to other issues better, and I've seen some other ideas I agree with, but that's still my biggest thing I've waited for a long time now, and keep hoping we're getting close to it.

Expand teams playoff result in NHL leagues and others
I would like to see in the history section for a team; Instead of a generic "x" to say if a team for specific year, qualified for the playoffs, and won stanley cup Instead you should replace both, with a category playoff, that shows what round they were eliminated, WON STANLEY CUP in bold or lost ... or --- for dnq.

Ability to start in future season, import current database
Ideal world:
✅ Pick any future start year (2025, 2026, 2030…) ✅ Automatically import the latest real rosters as of that moment ✅ Let the game handle retirements, contracts, cap hits, and aging curves accurately ✅ Even add a “realistic projection” mode for prospects & aging stars (like Toews) Current reality: ❌ You’re forced to start in the present or use fictional/quickstart saves ❌ No easy “roster update” integration for future seasons ❌ Manual editing for every player’s age, contract, status, or retiree comeback ❌ And, ironically, fan mods can do it better than the base game! You should partner with Puckpedia for live daily updates to rosters if need be. |

Make the salary demand make more sense. A player who had 10 points in 50 games should not get 4 million in free agents. Some players demand 8 million dollar far into the season and make them stay as free agent instead of signing to a lower contract and shorter term to make sure they stay in NHL. It's getting ridicolous and every time I see that, I turn off the game. I really hope that will be fixed in FHM 12.

EIHL Rules
In the UK, the EIHL has much stricter rules for homegrown players than what is currently in the game.
Only players who played for a youth team in the UK (before the age of 18) or those that exclusively hold a nationality from within the UK are eligible. If we take Dallas Ehrhardt as an example: Even though he has been playing in the UK for over 5 years, has citizenship and has even represented team GB at international tournaments, he doesn't count as a homegrown player and takes up a foreigner spot on the roster. In an ideal world, you would keep the ability for players to change international teams after playing in the league for 2 years, which is the real life rule, but stop players that gain a new nationality from counting as homegrown. At the moment the quality of the league inflates too much, so if I try to keep it realistic for my roster, it's just unplayable. I'd also love to see the European Continental Cup in the game. |

*** Entry Draft Revamp ***
I would love to see an option to give a real live actual immersive entry draft play out in real time, with all the time clocks implemented obviously with the ability to skip to next team etc... I think there would be some excitement in watching each team on the clock choosing players to making last minute trades to shift up or down in draft positions this feature would be so cool to see play out. If your running a team and your time expires because your not prepared then you should have consequences in loosing your pick also. *** Make this game challenging *** This game doesn't have enough consequences implemented in disrupting the teams synergy and allows the players to trade the entire roster in one season with very minimal backlash, the game needs to be more emphasis in making this game challenging rather then winning a cup with a mediocre to rebuilding team. If you make trades by looking to rebuild or for funzies, then that's fine but where's all your players telling you that they want out because of the new direction of your organization !???? *** Better AI *** I find myself babysitting every transaction because virtually 75% of all trades make no gosh-darn sense!!!!! Prospects playing in the ECHL, NHL players playing in the AHL after 30-40 point plus season ??? I can't even bother to write the wrongs because the list is extensive *** Veteran Players *** Currently older players that regress are useless ... yeah that's right useless.... you can't argue the point of a 30 year old player who's attributes are tanking quicker than quicksand that your interested in signing this individual to his UFA asking price and trio of years.... your lying if you do... most of these prestigious veterans sit in UFA and become just a nameplate or play in different leagues quickening there downfall. Why does this game need to always reduce the older players to nothing and not add to other areas of they're attributes ?? like Leadership, Defensive attributes etc..... I'm not saying Nick Suzuki at age 34 is going to become a selke award nominee after his offensive game is gone but adding to different areas of the player while reducing attributes makes more sense then a player completely useless by age 34-36!! Playoff veteran players who are successful in playing well in the playoffs and winning cups should reflect this in scouting reports too and attributes like consistency and leadership increasing etc.. |

Every time I see a suspension, it's because of a head shot. Players get suspended for other things besides head shots. |

Monthly Honours - how about listing the players stats for the month.
A strong month claimed top offensive player honours for player X. During the month, he scored 8 goals and had 9 assists for 17 pts in 12 games. Top goaltender was player X of the XXX with a .924 SV % and 2.14 GGA in 12 starts. |
