Long-established alternate history league (1995)

We have an opening in the United League, an established and stable alternate history league (1994). Here are some features:
•​ League has been around since 2003 and we are starting our 45th season (1995).
• Historical players on fictional teams.
• Small league (only 18 teams).
• Positive social community: more than half of our 18 GMs have been in the league more than a decade.
• Very immersive. Four decades of league history, active website, podcast. Great group of guys!
• Leisurely pace, We sim every 3-4 days and complete three seasons in a year.
• We are switching to OOTP26 in early July.
• Use Slack for league comms.
• Available team is the Chicago Colts, who just won the World Series in 1993 and are loaded with stars: Alan Trammell, Eric Davis, Gary Sheffield, Albert Belle, John Olerud. Solid pitching. Could be a great team for a newbie. Not a rebuild but the challenge will be keeping them competitive.
