OOTP 26 straight up freezing on title screen

Title screen. Freezes. No activity on the Task Manager.

OMG. Does this game not know how to uninstall itself? Do I have to go into the registry?????

I want this in my E folder.

No matter what I do, it won't let me.

Steam's "move install files" to a different folder makes the game say "No! All the files are in the D folder!"

Uninstall, then reinstall, "NO! ALL THE FILES ARE IN THE D FOLDER, DAMMIT!!!!"

Have you tried reinstalling? The world_template.xml on 4.61 should be fine. Moving the game files to another drive also works without issues for me.

Did you change anything in your paths.cfg file? the path_cust_data looks wrong to me. It should probably be D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Out of the Park Baseball 26\data (or the equivalent on your E drive)

Probably the quickest solution here would be just to search for and delete your paths.cfg file. The game will then go back to using the default path, rather than the custom patch that's causing the issues.

Yeah, the file that's likely causing problems here is the paths.cfg file. Search for that, delete it, and OOTP should look for the correct folder and start.
