Historical Rookies imported with wrong birth year

I simmed a few seasons of a 1996 quickstart I downloaded from this forum. The 1996 draftees who played in the minors during that season were already assigned to the correct teams, those who did not came up during the 1997 draft correctly. I did move the draft from November 1996 to June 1997 but up until that point nothing strange happened, their birth years were also correct.

During the 1998 draft however, all the players show up as having been born a year later than they were in real life, i.e. C.C. Sabathia having been born in 1981 instead of 1980. Could this have anything to do with the moved date or is there something else amiss?

The draft in historical really needs to run after the season ends in order to get the players to come in during the right years. If you switch it to occur during the season, you will see guys come in a year earlier/later than they really did, and depending on the date you choose, you might even end up losing one draft class from the year of the switch or the year after.
